This is a fun place to go with friends or for a party. You choose your candle container and then the scents that you want to use. The staff walks you through the process and are very helpful with scent combinations. They take care of the final setup, and you can pick up your candle the following day. They also have a fun gift shop in the front of the business.

Very fun activity and nice host...But...very disappointed in the poor choice of the extra merchandise with inappropriate phrases. Why sell that? Keep the experience ALL classy like your candles and scent based activity. Stay HIGH END with merchandise appropriate for everyone and ditch the profanity based trinkets! Your concept is fun and wonderful, The R rated and profane stuff is not. Keep it attractive with the spa - boutique style night and don't ruin and confuse your atmosphere right when you walk in. Adding a glass of sparkling water to the experience would be sensational! Everyone likes the candle making part, but filling the two hours was a challenge. Add some more candle time, more teaching on the essential oils, trivia, demonstrations, dipping processes etc. and with a few changes to merchandise in the front...more shopping!

My boyfriend and I attended for my birthday and it was amazing! Even he, who was a little skeptical (about it being fun for males) talked about how fun it was after the fact. Our hostesses were great! They were lively, fun, and helped when needed. The place was decorated very aesthetically pleasing. The candle making was easy but still very hands-on. Tons of scents to smell! Oh and the cutest merchandise to shop from afterwards!! I plan to be back and definently recommend! ?

What a fun experience!!! Lilly was the best hostess ever and absolutely made the party? I will definitely be back oh so many times!! Makes my heart happy to support local businesses,and this one is TOP TIER!!! From the lighting, to the presentation, and OMG the shwag shop!!! I absolutely ADORE my new kitchen towel and oven mit ?

The Bougie bar was a super fun, unique experience! The interior was really nice and appealing. The gift shop had great items so I'll definitely be back to purchase a thing or two.The workers were very friendly, engaging and clearly very knowledgeable about what they do. I would highly recommend to anyone!!

Amazing unique experience!!! The place was such a great welcoming vibe...so trendy and my eyes wanted to look at everything. I booked a private event and the setup was so cute. Its BYOW & snacks ... which was great because i brought quite a bit. The host were super friendly and fun and the overall experience was super easy and chill...they literally explain everything as much as you want and they walk you through it as well. I loved it all and of course you get your own special candle in the end.... (technically you have to go back and pick it up another day because let's be real Candles cannot cure in 1 or 2 hours) I highly recommend this for a girls gathering or a special event like bachlorette, bridal shower, birthday or just want to catch up with your girlfriends.

I had so much fun making my candle and the selection of scents are amazing! Samantha and Lilian did a wonderful job and made the vibe relaxing and fun! It is a perfect event to spend with lady friends or family:) Thank you and I love my new candle!!

My friend and I visited the Lafayette location . I am dissatisfied. The only reason I booked was to learn everything about how to make a candle. Not to just have people hand me materials and instruct me on what to do. I need to know exactly what materials are being used to make the candles. BE SPECIFIC.The host could not answer none of my questions including wick size, wick material, candle jar material, and candle jar diameter. The whole point of making a candle is learn how to make a candle . Therefore, I should know the materials being used to make the candle. Measurements/materials plays a part in candle making. Therefore that information should be provided. However I did not learn anything because the hosts did not answer my questions. They stated they had no clue regarding my questions. I will not be returning back because I did not get the “experience” and “tips or knowledge” I should have. The only question they were able to answer was the temp of the wax in which they said they pour it at “185”.

The experience was overall pretty good, but I found myself sweating up a storm, my girlfriend too. It was unnecessarily hot, but the candles we made were overall worth it, no doubt. The man working the social on Saturday appeared to be a wee bit lost, too. But it didn’t really overall effect the experience.
