Will not allow you to go inside, and will not let you buy from them, unless you give them your email address. I was trying to spend over $100 and they didn't seem to care. Told me to give the phone # and name for the supervisor to call, NO call back. I will spend elsewhere.

Absolutely love Bill and Louise and their amazing pecan offerings. Every time I'm in town, I always get the Chocolate Toffee Pecans, and my wife loves to make pecan pie with their Elliott Pecan Halves. Wish the storefront was still open, but I'm delighted I can still get their delicious pecans. Would rate them 10 stars if I could. God bless you Bill and Louise!

On Saturday (12-12-2020) I stopped by Classic Golden Pecans in Lafayette to buy a few Christmas gifts. We usually spend about $100 each Christmas there. When I walked onto the front porch I was stopped outside by a gentlemen that I later learned was the owner. He ask if he could help me and I said that I had come to shop for Christmas presents. He then told me that because of COVID they were only doing online business and curb side. I told him I wanted to brose because I didn't know what I wanted but he said they were not allowing that and that I could go online. I then told him that there was no hard feelings but that I have chosen not to spend money at anyplace that goes to extremes with COVID, said thank you and walked away. As I was walking away he said "Yes, and I wish they hadn't shut me down". I replied you shut yourself down. This whole conversation was not heated or unfriendly but this business owner has chosen to go to the extreme and should pay dearly for his decision. He has no reason to have his doors closed, he could easily require masks (which I might have complied with since it's a local small business) and social distancing but he has chosen to go a step further and then blame "them" for his mistake. My $100 may not be important to him but at least one friend after hearing this won't be spending their annual $250 dollars there either. But who knows that may not bother him either. It's owners like him and people who do business under this stupid train of thought that will keep this craziness going on and on. Stand strong Louisiana our small voices to the Governor will be amplified when business owners join in. Sometimes your voice is best heard when you keep $100 in your pocket and spend it elsewhere. Have since learned that pecans are not even sourced from Louisiana.

Every time I go to Lafayette, I get boxes of chocolate covered pecans or one of their many coated pecans. They are so fresh tasting and delicious!

Pecans were good , but the two ladies working there weren’t welcoming at all. They didn’t say hello, offer to sample, or explain what is available on shelves or what they can fix. Neither lady seemed to want to be there. We went on that 30th of November. When we did ask if we could order, both ladies just looked at us and one finally ask the other to help us. After taking our order, nothing was said to us. We had to ask where our order was. She told us the guy is preparing in the back. Peacans were good , but customer service was very poor. The two ladies need to be replaced with welcoming staff that is happy to assist and explain a little about their products.
