My mother called to schedule an appointment. It showed that 3 were available online. When calling she spoke with Liliana. She was rude and hung up in my mother’s face, because we ask questions about the scheduling. I decided to call back, I asked if she hung up and then she hung up in my face. That is disgusting behavior, and with all the money me and my mother pay at PetSmart it’s disappointing that this is who they are hiring. If she is that upset, she should quit. It’s by God’s and my mother’s grace that I didn’t go to that store.

I have took my fur baby here twice and both times was a horrible experience. They do not know how to grow a poodle just shave them I ask them to not shave his face and the top of his head. And they did. They charged me 78 dollars to totally mass up my baby. I will never ever take him back there. And the really sad part is there were to other ladies there picking up there fur babies and they were as up set as I was.

Petsmart is lucky a one star is what you have to put. I will never walk foot back into the store ever again, go there to buy fish for a tank I got from there to get told I can’t get the fish I want because my tank is to small by some young girl, every timei have went in there the same girl in the fish department is the worst ever. I know fish and I will buy what I want. Instead of directing a person to the right fish to buy for there tanks, she runs you off from buying any fish. I use to run a large store and believe me I would have fired her today. If she would have did that to any customer. Petsmart in Gonzales let the skinny young girl go before you have no business.

Would not go here again. Grooming took over 4 hours and did not look good. They also charged a special “handling fee”. My dog has gotten groomed at the Baton Rouge PetSmart for almost 3 years and never had a “handling fee”. Will drive to Baton Rouge in the future. Also, they completely shaved his feet and he looks awful. Will not go again.

Horrible experience! I took my two Shih tzu’s to this location to get groomed. When I walked in the lady that checked me had such a rude attitude from the beginning. She took my first baby to the back to get groomed and came back for my second one. My baby roux is often scared to get groomed, so I many cases when I’ve came to this location they will pick him up and bring him to the back if he’s scared to walk on his own. Instead this young lady continued to pull on my dog choking him with the leash! I asked her did she not see she was choking him with the leash?? Her response is he’s not co-operating so we won’t be able to groom him. I said well of course not if you’re literally choking him!! I took my babies and left! I knew if she was behaving that way with my baby in front me, it would be even worse behind closed doors. Never will I go to this location again!!

** PLEASE READ!!*** PETSMART GONZALES LA. My Dog has been going there for a few years, there was a great groomer that left 3 years ago (Elise) They wouldn't tell me where she went, the groomer Jodi, was really good for a few times I brought my dog, the last 3 times (which is 3 months apart, each time I bring him) got worse there. It used to be 3 hours minimum is the longest time frame (which is a long time) The last 2 times I brought my dog (the time frame was 3/4 hours, "they said") TODAY again was 5 hours and I HAD TO CALL AGAIN and the groomer, Jodi, left without letting me know my pet was done, had someone else tell me ONLY bc I CALLED! Then they told me he peed in the tub, well YEAH if he sitting in a small kennel when his apmt is at 12:30pm and doesn't get seen for hours yeah, he is gonna pee. The person that answered the phone when I called to check on my dog had the audacity to tell me I need to ask JodI next time if he can be seen by her again because he peed in the bathing tub. For one, if my dogs apmt is at 12:30pm then GROOM my dog at 12:30! DONT OVERBOOK & put him in a kennel For 3/4/hours, then groom him the 5th hour, then complain bc he peed in The bathing tub! It's gotten worse and worse the last few times I brought my dog! Jodi does a good job BUT the overbooking and leaving your pets in kennels for 5 hours isn't ok!!!! Plus they charge $89 for that! If anyone thinks of their pets as family then don't bring them there.

Mad appointments went in on 3 different times the first time I forgot shot records . Made another attempt with records said I was too late to come back another day went in during the week on time they said they couldn’t bathe him because he a a little rash on his back. He had just came from the vet 2 days prior to going in and they suggested I bring him back to the vets. I spent lots of gas money going back and forth, when they should have just said we are afraid we can’t handle him because he may not let us groom him. The worst experience I’ve ever had. They deserve a zero in points. I’m glad his groomer returned.
