Had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby just to close my account. After 40 years ?
I was the 2nd person in line.
No, they weren't busy.
It's because no one works here. Small staff, large business, can't keep up with the 4 customers that were here.
Go to 1st American bank and trust.
WAY BETTER!

I love banking with capital one but a recent experience in this branch office was unacceptable. I went in with my boyfriend to make a joint account and two ladies greeted us at the door we let them know what it was we were there for. Immediately they looked unhappy and not very willing to help simply told us we could do it online….. we sat at the couches and went in the app to proceed further as we are working with the man ON THE PHONE in the bank where the two ladies have now gathered to three and all three look very unhappy that we are on the phone receiving help with a man over seas who can barley speak English and we were receiving better customer service from him than any of the three ladies who could have simply stopped gossiping amongst themselves and actually represented their company with quality customer service.

I work in customer service so I know how to treat customers however the middle aged looking woman named Cynthia sitting and the last window displayed a lot of micro aggressions. She assumed if I owned my own account and telling me I needed a license when she had my Passport in her hand. Then gave me my money without an envelope. When I politely asked if she could put the money in a envelope she just gave me the envelope and walked away. After announcing the amount of money I withdrew from my account. She could use a few trainings in customer service

Barry at the Gonzales location on Burnside Ave. was very rude and unprofessional. He then left his window and followed me across the lobby in a very confrontational manner. He accosted me after making a false accusation in reference to my original statement of his unprofessionalism and became more aggressive. His manager did absolutely nothing and was useless in resolving Barry's obvious anger issues. It appears that Capital One condones unacceptable behavior from it's employees that have anger issues and an unprofessional attitude. I highly recommend staying far away from Capital One and would give it zero stars if I could.

Ms Jennifer is a Very unprofessional manager of this location. And very unprofessional one of their employee. The disrespected me when I bring lot of business to them. She bringing this branch down. I guess I would never be back and that’s one of the reason capital one is turning in cafe branches because of unprofessional staff.

I just moved from the west coast and opened an account online. I had a check that wouldn't mobile deposit because it was hand written. I came into this branch and was helped by the teller Jennifer. She is a shining beacon in the service world. Not only was she welcoming and kind but she was very knowledgeable about Capital One's account services and online access. Jennifer's service was prompt, exact, and helpful. I will be banking with Capital One for the foreseeable future because of customer service representatives like Jennifer. Awesome employees, thank you Jennifer, Capital One and the Gonzalez branch! Happy Mardi Gras!

Had Capital One for decades. Going down hill quick. App and website says "oops we hit a snag" constantly. ATMs say "not functioning at this time" too often. They eliminated overdraft protection accounts which puts customers at risk for huge NSF fees should a mishap occur. I'm shopping credit unions for a better deal.

Had a bad experience with a teller at this location. I get it, I’m not your customer. I’m a victim of one of your customer’s shady practices. Your teller showed zero compassion. She charged me a fee and completed the transaction her way- not what I asked. She also kept repeating the same thing over and over again in a nasty tone. I had the opportunity to follow up with the manager. She was kind and had this teller not intervened I’m sure she would have resolved my issue appropriately. However, after the fact, I’m the one stuck holding the bag and inconvenienced. I can promise you that I will never bank at Capital One.
