They’re good if you can catch everything fresh. However the last 4 or 5 times I’ve been around noon or a little after the boudin balls have not been good. They taste burnt or either the grease needs to be changed.I caught them one morning around 7:30 and everything was excellent.

First let me say the hot, prepared foods are delicious. The boudin balls are among the best in the area and the chicken cracklins are to die for. However, twice now when visiting on a Sunday, we have had terrible customer service experiences. There is one or possibly a few young gentlemen that work on the weekends and have been downright rude to us multiple times. It is almost enough to turn us off on visiting. I’m still giving three stars because the product is great and my family has had good experiences with the owners but if I were them I would seriously look into providing some training on personal relations or do some hiring.

I have been here many times and the customer service is excellent. I was greeted by the staff as soon as I walked in. I love the assortment of meats they sell. The boudin balls are delicious and fresh.

I enjoyed the Food that I experienced. .etc...I also bought a container of Shrimp Salad..It has a good flavor..but need more Mayonnaise , Maybe a little (Sweet - Relish)..Please, Please EASY ON THE SALT..TOO MUCH. .BUT I THANK YOU FOR THE SERVICE. .WILL SEE YOU AGAIN. ..

Update: I'm still loving those Boudin pepper jack egg rolls. Thanks So Much to your fast and friendly staff for dropping a fresh batch when I come in. I sure appreciate the extra time and effort they take.I stopped in yesterday to check out the supply. Picked up some ribeyes and boudin & pepperjack egg rolls that were so good I'm going back for more today! Thanks Herbert's!

Good boudin and pepperjack boudin balls and about as good as you can get in Baton Rouge area ... Rate it an A-Check out their rating on boudin link dot comHebert’s is not as good as anything in Scott (NuNu’s, Billy’s, etc) and I wouldn’t buy the CRACKLINS after a peak ... Not fresh as I caught them near closing time in all fairnessLots of other goodies in their shop if you’re looking for stuffed chicken ... The pork sausage and ITALIAN sausage looked great and I will shop here again...

This boudin is just as delicious as the locations in the Lafayette area. The links are smaller in size, but still delicious. I just wish I didn't have to eat it in my car.

The loosest, wateriest boudin we've ever had. It's really nothing like the true Cajun shop in Maurice. VERY disappointing. Good flavor, but flows out of the understuffed skin like soup.
