Do not rent from key real estate. They will ignore your maintenance requests and calls the entire time you live there and charge you for things you documented on the way out. The WORST property management team on the north shore. Should be shut down by the state because they will make someone sick or injured with their lack of maintenance on their properties.

Would be nice if they started picking up those Wal Mart baskets that their residents repetitively leave thrown all over the open field opposite to their entrance. This makes the entire area look like trash.

I didn’t even move there because the apartment they were trying to give me had a big hole in the patio and they said they were gonna repair it, I said repair it first and then I will move, they didn’t accept it, tried to work it on their own terms and rush me to move which didn’t align with my timeline. But management are so rude and not helpful and they also kept my $500 deposit, I’ve never seen this bad of an apartment management/company before and I hope they go bankrupt. Long story short I didn’t even move but lost $500 and dealt with the worst people so I don’t recommend it to anyone. Please stay away from this apartments for your own good.

Terrible place to live! This place is seriously detrimental to your health. Been here less than a year and have had water damage twice and has tested positive for mold. Their maintenance crew is a joke they have no idea what they’re doing, they don’t fix anything properly. They just put a bandaid over everything. They left insulation hanging out of my ceiling for weeks! We have a Great Dane puppy that is less than 2 years old and we have paid our pet deposit and the Great Dane is on our lease as well as we pay rent every single month for our Great Dane to live here but yet the office will not resign our lease because she is “over weight” even tho they accepted her when we first signed our lease and they told us Great Dane are allowed. They changed their rules after 6 months of us being here. The office management has harassed me several times about my dog and have threaten me with the police. They leave water damage for weeks with insulation hanging out the walls and then when I express my concern about my health to the office. The office is rude and ugly back and makes you feel like you’re crazy and then threaten you with policy. This apartment complex is very unprofessional and causes serious health issues for anyone who lives here! The pictures below was left exactly like that for over 3 weeks. The second picture was there finished job. They left the old wet sheet rock to dry and just reused the wet sheet rock.

They show they close at 5:30 but lock the doors at 5:05PM. They should change their closing time to 5:00PM. Recommendations change the time on your website and plaque near your door to reflect the time your leasing agents want to leave.

Save your money and heart ache and stress that ibis trail will bring you if you live here. I've been here for 6 month and have been absolutely miserable every day living here! The management is terrible they beat you around the bush and never resolve any problems we have. There's water damage is my apt that the maintenance people patched up and left the soaking insulation still in the wall. Now I have a water ring around my ceiling that probably producing mold at this point that I have let the management know about several times and it's still not fixed. I've also heard about water damage in my neighborhood apartment that they haven't had fixed for month now! Also the 6 months I've been here there's never been a security gate that works nor has the security fence been fixed since I lived here. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The management is nonexistent and the maintenance don't know what there doing!

Maintenance is almost nonexistent; my girlfriend's apartment had a celling leak to the point that black mold set in before they showed (a year later) they cut a square out and it's been almost 6 months and still no return while a hole in her closet has attic bugs coming in. living room celling leak spot from a roof leak during the beginning of covid 2019. they still have not addressed these spots. I finally decided to write this review because now her ac unit is not working a ticket submitted and we know this will take a few hot days for them to fix. I would like to stress to everyone she kept dates of every time she put tickets in and spoke to from office about these matters if cooperate or whoever the owner is tries to deny these issues. If you would like to see how they take care of the place just drive through. The gates are always broken and fencing falling down. Good luck with your life decision when considering this place.

Terrible experience with them. The day I was supposed to move in they called me saying that the apartment wasnt ready (Have in mind that my rent and move in date got approved 3 months before). When I got to the apartment the day that it was postponed to, A/C system wasnt working. They didnt offer any type of help nor discount for the bunch of inconveniences coming in. Overall, dont stay here, it isnt worth it.

Take my advice and do not move in here. I was a tenant in building 16 for 18 months. I moved out in January of 2019 after satisfying all requirements of my lease. The management Team was nice enough to make up stuff we didn’t do to our apartment so they wouldn’t have to refund our $600 security deposit. The apartments are deceptively nice but walls and floors are paper thin. I had a 1st floor apartment and could hear other tenants walking around on the 3rd floor. There was constant fighting in the middle of the night from our neighbors on the 2nd floor apartment that could be heard at all hours of the night. On the 1st floor apartment directly across from ours, people were showing up all times of the night and wee hours of the morning. Can’t imagine what kind of business they had going on. The icing on the cake was finding out our lease agent Robbie had switched our lease from a 12 month to 18 month term. We moved in thinking we had agreed to a 12 month lease, but what a surprise it was to find out we had another 6 months to go when we thought it was time to leave! Getting harassed by management on occasion for simply riding our bikes was also enjoyable.Update 3/12/19: On 3/11/19 I went to the office and met with new manager. Discussed the fact that I moved out on 1/22/19 and law requires refund and settlement statement within 30 days. Manager apologized and then proceeded to explain that deductions were taken from my deposit for oven cleaning, carpet cleaning and purple paint specks on the ceiling. Since we didn't clean the inside of the oven, I was good with that, but it's funny that when I turned in my carpet cleaning receipt to Antonio on 1/22/19, he wrote my forwarding address on the back of it. (The very address they had listed on file to send what was left over of my deposit). As for the purple paint specks on the ceiling, I explained that we never painted any walls during the 18 months we lived there, and this had to have been left over from painting crew prior to us moving in. Manager agreed to not charge for purple paint specks and carpet cleaning, but held me to the $50 charge to clean the oven and 93 cents for unpaid rent??? For the 18 months I lived at IBIS, I have paid over $20,000 in rent which was always paid on time. IBIS thanks me for nickeling and diming me when I move out. I could go on and on about other things such as the time my son and I were harassed for riding our bicycles, but I think I've said enough. Currently waiting for my check of $549 and change.Update 6/12/2021…. I still have PTSD episodes from living at this place.

The worse place in town. Save yourself money & aggravation & sleep in your care instead of this place. Managers are totally useless & won't return your calls. We have been here a month & have had noise issues with the above neighbor & no one is interested in doing anything about it

in may i applied for ibis trail apartments in covington. i put a $400 deposit. then they denied my application & said they would mail a check with the deposit back.couple weeks goes by no check. i call them. for at least 2 weeks & it was either no answer or answer & “we’ll call you back we’re busy”.finally Antonio in the office said okay we’re sending it outnever got it. i try calling again & he tells me this time “we didn't send out your deposit because you didn't fill out the paperwork in time when your application was accepted” i said “no. my application was denied & you told me twice you sent the check out”i then call apartment manager a few weeks ago (keep in mind i was supposed to get this back in june) & she sounded very nice & had a sense of urgency & said “this will be mailed out immediately. you will receive it in 10-14 days.well folks. its been 3 weeks. no check. i tried calling the headquarters in new orleans & left a message. no answer or response.something needs to be done about this. extremely unprofessional.

Upon giving my deposit I was guaranteed a certain apartment and move in date. When my move in date arrived I was made aware that my “guaranteed” apartment was being occupied and I was placed in a different apartment. Before moving-in I also made the leasing agent aware that my wife was a military service member and may be getting orders soon to depart, he stated that was fine as long as I gave a 60 day notice (false, lease states 30 day notice) and upon getting orders for departure I have been reprimanded by being overcharged (nearly $3,000) and hit with an EVICTION NOTICE! Under the SCRA, a federal law, I cannot be penalized.I reached out to Meisha Godfrey, property manager, and unprofessional is a complete understatement. If she wasn’t interrupting me while I spoke, she was speaking over me implying federal law doesn't apply to this property and my matter was insubstantial and continued to persuade me to pay the penalties. As if this wasn’t enough to deal with during the last week of May I tried adding an occupant to my lease, for gym membership purposes, and was given a set price of $50 for application and addition, for two weeks I kept in touch with the office only to be told it was still processing. The day after I gave my wife’s military orders and informed the office of our lease termination, I was advised to pay another $150 to add the occupant AFTER given orders to vacate.Ibis Trail does not respect the law, military orders, or their own contract for that matter.Do not recommend it.

Just go somewhere else. From day one, parking has been an issue. If you like parking down the block from your apartment building then this place is perfect. If you get home after 6, goodluck finding a parking space. If you need maintenance you're going to have to call at least twice before they actually show up. This past summer I had packages stolen from my door step, as well as the parcel lockers were broken into. They didn't even have cameras until after it happened. Not to mention I always hear screaming kids while I'm inside. Its so frustrating, I can't stand it here.
