“It has been years since I have been here. The chicken and rice were I would say good. But not like I remember it being years ago. Also was a little bit strange. I was the second person in the door when they opened. Had ticket number 2 and just ordered 8 piece wings, As did most of the other people behind me. After everybody's order was taken There were about 16 tickets and after about 20 minutes. Food started coming out and they started calling the top numbers first Who ordered last and about 8 people got their food before me that ordered after me.”

“My wife and I arrived in New Orleans after a full day of driving. We were really hungry and really tired. Thankfully we found v&t food store. This is not a fancy place, it is a truly authentic neighbourhood place with amazing takeout food.We got a couple of Po Boys (shrimp and hamburger) and took them back to our place, best sandwich I've ever had. No kidding. Oh I almost forgot, get the GUMBO. Brilliant. And kicks the butt of any fancy restaurant in the quarter.We were so impressed we went back on Christmas Eve and got food for Xmas Eve and Xmas day, it was awesome.The food was utterly amazing, people were friendly, they made us feel right at home.The place can look a little intimidating from the outside but don't be fooled.Highly recommended.”

“The pumps and air machine work great but the staff could use some training. I almost stepped in vomit at the pump, it was gross. I used the air machine and it worked great, but some tall guy came up and started reaching around the machine without saying a word. After I gave him a weird look he said he worked there. It freaked me out so I left.”

“George (the pharmacy manager) stopped during the middle of his work to greet and guide me to the register. He efficiently got my information and prescription, and then gave me a wonderful surprise at check out. I am without insurance until next month, and there was a coupon available on my rewards account that I was unaware of. He applied it for me and I saved over $80! The entire process took less than 5 minutes from the time I approached the counter to leaving the store. I have never experienced a more superior pharmacy service in my life, and he was truly a blessing. I made the switch to this CVS location a few months ago, and every visit has exceeded my expectations- this was easily the best one yet. Seamless efficiency=customer for life ✅”

And those smothered potatoes, OMG!...We went there one night after the club to eat and the food was so good we slept like babys and dreamed about that damn food it was so good to our soul.
