Terrible customer service. I realize that a friendly person is a rare find these days in any business. But Lowes might be the worst. Where do they find these miserable people at?

I love Lowe's selection and prices but here lately the service from the Bossier City, La location is terrible. November 30,2020 I ordered new replacement vinyl windows for an entire home. Over a month and a half later I get a call that my windows are in. As I live 50 miles away I had to shut down the job and pay a helper to go with me to load the windows - when I get there it's only a partial order - someone could have mentioned that. Then I discover at the job site that the windows are wrong - they are for new construction and I ordered replacement windows; but the help has already torn out existing windows so I have to modify and install - but am missing the NEEDED trim accessories that come with replacement windows. Then I find out that these particular windows are JUNK. Junk windows are not Lowe's fault - but YOU CAN NOT reach millworks by phone, asking customer service to leave them a message to call me doesn't work - so I'm going to have to make ANOTHER 100 mile round trip just to let them know I'm having issues. This is RIDICULOUS !!!

Half the fun is figuring out where what you need is and the sights along the way. There are minimal differences between this one and the ones on Youree or Bert Kouns, and I mean that in a good way.

I kinda dig Lowe's. They're my go to store. They always have what I want- except cucumber. They never have that. And price wise they're competitive. The people are so friendly. And helpful. And I like Lowe's.

I should lower the star rating but I'll just give the update: 1. I called the store to have the patio door picked up as it was left January 8th because they sent the wrong size out. Someone was to call me back and never did. I contacted Chris, the measuring ladyperson, and she said someone would be out Sunday, February 9th. It's Friday, February 14th and this is the given deadline I gave everyone with Lowe's to pick up the french door today because the POD is being returned this day. I even explained if they'd like to pay for another month then it can remain otherwise it has to be gone before Friday to avoid paying. 2nd. It's like all contact goes into a vast black hole. If you find key people that follow through then keep them on speed dial. 3rd. This location is completing the french doors and should do the gutters but the only good thing so far... The installers are prompt and professional. Before this, delivery was prompt and professional. Now, I worry I'll be forced to use Home Depot.

Thank you so much, Clint, for helping my daughter find the wood she needed to improve her desk. Also, thank you for being so "cool" as she says and also helping her take the wood to the car. You're awesome!

No one buy appliances from Lowe's Home Improvement this holiday season. 35 days ago I ordered two appliances that just arrived, after I had to follow up multiple times with the manager whom was very professional in the beginning. First the order was sent to the wrong state. After finally arriving a week ago, we were told we had to wait a week for delivery. This morning I received no call so I asked for it to be delivered. The delivery company called my wife, not my number, three times asking for directions (even though we are on every map). Upon delivery the team did not dispose of the old appliances, which I paid for them to do. I was told with confidence by the manager that a full install would take place. Instead, I had two boxed-up appliances in my kitchen and my old ones still here. After calling 5 times to the Bossier store and being put on hold, I drove there. I immediately see the manager and he says "I just called you". I had no call. He was frustrated and said that I could contact their 3rd party installation team. He said he would split the bill with me (like what I already paid for? Like for what he said would be done already?). The company never called back. Luckily a plumber friend came. He's still at our home helping with the install. While he opens up one appliance, one of the cords was cut. The next appliance was missing a washer. And to finalize the saga, the ice maker we now find is not the one that we were promised it would be. I'll be calling Home Depot in the morning. If anyone knows a senior manager at Lowe's I'd love to speak with them directly.

I bought a dishwasher and didn't have it stock, so I had to wait until it came in and then install it, even though the youree location had 4 in stock. I bought the installation and they said they would contact me when I was in the cue. They called me that Monday to tell me they would call me within the next 48 hours to set up an appt for installation. Not one call in 4 days, so I called them back to see what tge hold up was and they told me someone would call me later that day, no call. I called again that afternoon and they said everyone has already gone home and come by the store early to arrange an appt for Monday. So the installer called me and told me he couldn't do it till Tuesday. After a little complaining from me and I told him the story so far and he set up a late appt to have it done Monday. He did come out and wrestle with the old one trying to get it out and told me he was going to have to rip out some flooring to get it out. I said do whet you have to do, so he said he was going to have to talk to his boss to get tge ok to do it and said he would be back in 2 hours. He never came back or called me to say yes or no to tge job. I am at the end of my patience and would like to get my money back on the whole thing and start over with someone like Home Depot or sears. I will not be shopping at Lowe's ever again!

We started with our remodeling in September. When it came time to order our countertops at the middle of September it took 2 weeks to get in touch with the person to get the countertop ordered. The company came and measured and I was informed it would be 6-8 weeks to get them in. I didn't get to have Thanksgiving at my home. The cabinets arrived at Lowe's and they broke the corner off of the longest piece. It was another 2 weeks before we were notified that they were in and ready to be installed. When the countertops arrived with the installer they had ordered the wrong edge on the replacement piece. On 12/20 I still don't have a kitchen to cook and serve Christmas dinner to my family. It will be "after New Years" before I have a chance at having countertops. It has been three months and I will be waiting another 3-6 weeks? Bull. Each time I have called to talk to a manager about this there is "no one available". Any question we ask we get the answer "I can't do anything. You will have to talk to a manager." Customer Service is what differentiates one hardware store from another. None here... never again!!!

Well I wish I could be as positive as the others but to me customer service is job #1. While most employees are helpful just pointing is lame that the customer to the product not all Lowe's are set up the same. I told a guy looking to buy a expensive electric mower to check other Lowes store in area because this one didn't have it in stock and no one was helping him . So he got online found one, but it was on Amazon so by lack of customer service he shopped elsewhere where someone helped him. And my biggest complain at most stores employees say can I help you and their cracking up with other employees and 10 people in line and only 1 cashier. Other wise I'd have rated it higher.

Absolutely, positively without a doubt do we loves Lowe's! They bend over backwards to please their customers. And like the Santa in Miracle on 34th Street, they will be honest if they think something can be had for much cheaper elsewhere. Mind you, that's only happened a couple of times because their prices are great. We flipped a house in San Antonio and spent about $16,000 in Lowe's. At our new home here in Bossier we seem to be opening up our wallets again- what can we say - we love home improvements. What keeps us going back to Lowe's and not Home Depot not only is their customer service and prices, but their military discount program. The advertise it (Home Depot hides it and you have to ask) and they honor it on EVERYTHING. Clearanced or on sale or full price. If you have wood floors installed all through your house or just a wall switch- they honor it. If you have a coupon, they honor the military discount on top. I felt it necessary to write this review because we cheated on Lowe's today, tempted by a Home Depot coupon. We spent about $500 there today. Did Home Depot honor the coupon? Yup. But we couldn't use a military discount. Would they even give us a military discount without the coupon??? No- because 10 bricks we were buying were on sale. Businesses don't need to give these discounts. Heck, we don't even expect them. But when you have two competing stores and you spend THOUSANDS of dollars on their products and one offers easy use of their discount, then of course I'm going to prefer one over the other. Go blue.

Ahhhhh Lowe's the smell of sawdust, people running about, projects in the midst of beginning or being completed. I've been spending a lot of time at Lowe's this summer, working on all sorts of projects aaaand we're almost done! (I keep saying that!), but really I think we are this time! Every time I'm in Lowe's it makes me want to build or fix something, though when I get home it doesn't always work out that way!
