Very caring and prompt service. They are always gracious enough to answer any questions about my 13 year old dog medications and condition. Highly recommend.

Friendly and compassionate staff. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to our fur baby. The staff was patient and allowed me the time needed to say, "goodbye"

I called Saturday with an emergency for my pet goat around 12:30 in the afternoon. Was told that the last time I was there was 2022 so the vet wouldn’t see me and he wasn’t taking anymore emergency calls because he has had something going on. I didn’t realize that if I didn’t bring my animals in monthly to spend money that it would be an issue. After calling 4 plus vets, I called a fifth and begged them for help. Because I had to call so many I lost my boy.?? Needless to say I will never be back. I have since found a new vet in Bardstown.

I have been coming to Shelby Veterinary Clinic with my dogs for the last 10 years. There is no other place I want to take them. Their doctors are top of the field, the Vet techs are amazing and loving to my babies and the office staff is efficenct and amazing. The entire group is wonderful and treats my fur babies with gentleness and love!

I’ve been going to this vet clinic for several years and it’s always been great, but I would like to acknowledge the superior customer service I received today.
Thank you ladies for being so kind and accommodating, but especially and most importantly, you were great with my girl, River.
We appreciate you all very much!

Pathetic excuse for a veterinary clinic. Once Dr Hagan left, they are less than sub-par. Just because some uneducated lowlife receptionists can’t do their jobs, they refuse to treat my animals. Beware Shelby County… this clinic is a perfect example of white trash superiority that believes it can get away with anything for residents who live here.

I’ve used every veterinarian at this clinic and they are all outstanding! They really do care about the animals they see and have bent over backwards, literally to help me. Melissa and my daughter looking at sperm during a breeding soundness exam.

I was very disappointed with this vet. I moved to them a few years ago. And my last visit I spent $750 for my two dogs and had to write a check because they charge 3.5% to process your credit card. That is just bad business. But the worst…my elderly dog went down and could not walk. It was time to let him go…when I called to ask to bring him in to euthanize him…I was told they were booked for the day and couldn’t see him until the next day. I have never ever had a vet do this. I honestly was shocked. I have had dogs for over 30 years and used other vets, NONE have EVER made me make an appointment to end the life of a suffering animal. Won’t be back. That lack of compassionate service spoke volumes. I would not recommend this vet to anyone.

They've taken care of all my fur babies. The doctors are very nice and informative. I had one of my pups euthanized and the whole staff was very nice and supportive. I even got a clay print.

In times of routine healthcare and in times of emergency, SVC always provides the best of care to both the large and small animals in our lives. They are up to date on the latest of threats and treatments that our much loved and valued companions may face. They have rejoiced with us in adding new family members and cried with us when it was time to say goodbye. The entire clinic is made up of kind compassionate people that work very hard, long hours to make sure all four and two legged clients are cared for with great compassion. Pearl, Chester, Tolie, Dart, Rosie, 9 cats, 3 horses, 6 alpacas and 1 cow have all felt their kind touch and the occasional poke of a needle or two!
