I can't say enough good things about this place - but I'll try. First, it's gorgeous! The furnishings in the main part of the house make you feel welcomed from the moment you arrive - and after you have had a nice, relaxing swing on the front porch. There is even a blackboard with a welcome note to those who are arriving. So cute! Then, you go to your room. Additional homey feels in here! My husband and I stayed in the Stillhouse Suite which has two queen beds, one being on an outside porch. Wonderful! The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were amazingly soft. Pillows were quite comfortable as well. The room itself is generous in size and the bathroom has a gigantic shower!
And what's a B&B without the breakfast? I can tell you, you do not want to miss it. You pick a time for breakfast the evening prior and voila, a Downton Abbey worthy table is laid ready for you in the morning. Three courses. My favorite was the blueberry waffle with the bourbon infused syrup. No wait, it was the ham and egg cups over grits. No, really it was the baby gouda quiche on the first day. Oh, never mind. I can't pick a favorite. But, you get the idea. You also don't want to miss the Happy Hour in the evening at 5. It's a great way to get to know others who are also enjoying their stay at the Chateau. And the drinks and desserts are amazing. I do have a favorite here - a Manhattan with just a touch of praline liqueur. Oh yum!
None of this awesomeness could've happened without the vision and hard work of the hosts - Missy and John. So very professional and so very fun and informative. They chose a great location in a small, walkable community where everyone is front porch sittin'. Very quaint, lovely and welcoming. They chose well and developed a dream that others can share in. I hope you get the chance.

What a wonderful place to stay! We picked this location for a girls' weekend because of the neighborhood initially - Norton Commons offers so much to do for shopping, dining, and entertainment all within a quaint and idyllic neighborhood on the edge of Louisville. However, we fell in love with Chateau Bourbon. The owners are incredibly nice and welcoming; the food they serve is 5 star restaurant worthy; their knowledge of the area is high and so helpful; and the coziness of the B&B itself cannot be beat. The beds were so comfortable that I begged for the bedding information. I will definitely be recommended Chateau Bourbon to any friends coming to the Louisville area for any reason, but especially for the Bourbon Trail.

We stayed at Chateau Bourbon B&B for our 20th anniversary. It was the best experience! The location was great! Walking distance to everything you could need. The food and hospitality was top notch. The B&B was spectacular. We will certainly be coming back.

“Exceptional, excellent 2 night stay in a beautiful historic town. We will be back!”The only place to stay in Louisville, KY is at Chateau Bourbon. John and Missy’s home is beautiful and their attention to detail, along with their touches throughout the B&B exceeded all of our expectations. The comfy Single Barrel Suite looked over the quiet street and also had a patio over looking the courtyard. The home offered to many amenities to list. The highlight of our stay was John and Missy’s personal interaction during happy hour, breakfast and casual relaxation. We will definitely be back!Jeff and CarrieBlowing Rock, NC
