“Just a helpful reminder of what you can and can’t do as a pharmacist regarding HIPPA driectly from the legislation itself:164.510(b)(3) Limited uses and disclosures when the individual is not present. If the individual is not present, or the opportunity to agree or object to the use or disclosure cannot practicably be provided because of the individual's incapacity or an emergency circumstance, the covered entity may, in the exercise of professional judgment, determine whether the disclosure is in the best interests of the individual and, if so, disclose only the protected health information that is directly relevant to the person's involvement with the individual's health care. A covered entity may use professional judgment and its experience with common practice to make reasonable inferences of the individual's best interest in allowing a person to act on behalf of the individual to pick up filled prescriptions, medical supplies, X-rays, or other similar forms of protected health information.Now, if a person calls you, you have no idea who they are or if they are who they say you are. So what professional judgement are you using in this case? How their voice sounds? Who they say they are? Very secure practice of compliance I’m sure.I respect your intentions but I’m sorry the particular way you have gone about it is completely nonsensical. I’m giving you a 5 star because while I am angry, all I want to do is be able to support my partner when needed not trash your business.”

“I have been using Louisville Compounding Pharmacy for a while now for one of my cat's thyroid medications. As a rule, they do not ship out deliveries on Fridays but when they found out that my cat would run out of his meds before Monday, they shipped it out and I received it on Saturday. EXCEPTIONAL customer service and I highly recommend.”

“Went to the ER room at Audubon today because my leg was swollen. Turns out I had a blood clot in my left calf. They hemmed and hawed and decided to put me on a blood thinner. Got out to the drug store at Kroger Holiday Manor and they said the co pay was $700! I went back out to the car and called the ER room where they transferred me to their Pharmacy. Talked to a guy named Jason who worked his magic and got me a new med first month free and succeeding two months at $87 a month. Jason rocks!”

“Started coming here to fill meds for my dog (way cheaper than CVS) then realized my dog was getting better service here than we were at CVS. They are fast and do not seem to fall behind like other chain pharmacies. My daughter’s dr sent prescription in at 5:30 on a Friday and by 6:15 Costco texted it was ready. They will also call quickly if your meds are on order unlike CVS. The only downside is when I have to drag my kid across Costco to pick up (it can be busy in store). I’m also not sure what their stock is like for liquid meds for children.”

“The St. Mathews Community Pharmacy is hands down the best pharmacy I have ever been too. They are excellent in every way and I am very pleased to have found them. I gladly drive across town to get my scripts filled hassle & stress free from very nice, well educated people. Complete opposite of chain stores, with huge lines, no phone communication, rude workers, and endless complications. None of that here! “I've never had a single bad experience with any of their doctors, nurses, assistants, anyone. Everyone working there makes an effort to make your experience as easy, quick, and pleasant as possible. My children and I have gone here for years and I wouldn't even think of changing our primary care. That being said, there is only one big issue with this place which is timely care. I often wait hours on hold to schedule appointments. For dental I waited just to be told they were already booked for the next month and weren't booking any more for another month which would be scheduled another month out. You have to call and wait every day to ask if booking for dental has opened yet. Also, Same day appointments for urgent care are impossible to get and walk-ins are not accepted as they are indefinitely booked but they will give you an appointment date. You're looking at a week out or a trip to another urgent care or the ER if you can't wait or if you need a work note because you caught a cold.”
“After running into a nightmare scenario at the Fern Creek CVS, I'm transferring all of my meds here. I had to fill a couple prescriptions in December and January, and ValuMarket filled them within 15 minutes of the doctors calling them in (and they weren't 8 days behind like I was told CVS was). Sure, they don't have a drive-through, but I'll take 100% better service inside the store over a drive-through lane. They take most insurance plans too. This is the closest thing to a hometown (non-chain) pharmacy with individual quick service we're going to get in Louisville.”

“Serves it purpose of getting your vehucle fueled up. One way in, one way out cuts diwn on confusion. Pump #4 can be a hassle for most. A man was trying to get gas and had to put hus card in 8 times before it was accepted. It only took one try for me. Prices are usually lower than other non Sam's Club gas stations.”

“Sam's club is your typical bulk warehouse store. I can get groceries, over the counter medicines and gas for cheap. You all know this. I have to share the game changer if their app to this review. I have paired my Sam's club card with my credit card.anytime I am in the vicinity of a Sam's club I can use my app to pay for my items and my gas. It's great and so advanced. It's really great. On my last visit, it got eve better. They had folks making fresh sushi at this Sam's club. I had to buy some to try it. It was excellent sushi. Go figure. Sam's club is really changing the game.”

“I made the visit to Walgreens today for my booster shot. Before stepping in I was wowed at the parking lot this spot has ... in the Highlands! Prime real estate for its customers and staff. Closely monitored as well. The pharmacy team was amazing. I was checked in right away alongside another customer. Upon signing a form I was taken back to another room for my shot. I was thankful to learn that if I lose my card that I can likely get another from Walgreens since all my vaccines have been there. I took a small spin around the store, which was very clean and organized. My favorite area will forever be the make up aisles - a small joy that trickles over from childhood and shopping at Walgreens with my mom. Another highlight is the card aisle and if you need a quick gift they also keep gift cards stocked. It's a great spot to print off pictures as well. Thank you Walgreens for helping me to stay healthy!”

“Walgreens is super convenient and has good prices and even better sale items. I have breezed into this location to pick up items when in the area. The store is neat and clean and stocks all of the health and beauty items you could want. I like being able to rack up bonus points for purchases. The parking lot is spacious which makes it easy to get in, get out and get on my way.”
