I'd passed the sign indicating there was a Halloween store in Huntington place, embarrassingly it took me a few weeks to notice the "Party Paradise," at the bottom until I passed over again last night. I was super excited today, it was the first place I went and I was obviously overtly happy when I walked in and grabbed a cart. I was smiling from ear to ear and had to resemble a kid in Santa Claus's house because I couldn't contain my giddiness. They were pretty packed but everyone seemed friendly and helpful - at first glance. I put 3 pens that looked like blood filled syringes in my cart for my friends then found a packaged single fake gold tooth and placed it right along beside them in the child's seat. I asked a couple questions about some items around the counter where all the employees were standing and seemed to be receiving personalized attention from a seemingly nice greying blonde slightly obese elderly woman - I didn't put much thought to it at the time. My boyfriend had been purchasing some things in another business at the same shopping center, when he joined me we started browsing the rest of the store, checking out the costumes and accessories. We both love Halloween, but trust me when I say we weren't being loud or obnoxious. Took maybe 2 costumes off the wall for a closer look then replaced them. After walking around the store for about 10 more minutes and snapping a few pics of some Dr Seuss Things 1 & 2 items for my disabled twin that wasn't able to join us we had made it only about a quarter of the way thru the store when that same blonde woman approached us asking if we were "still doing ok," as if she'd even checked before... Before I was able to respond she reached into my heart and grabbed out the three pins and single fake gold tooth asking me if I would like her to take it up front and turned and walked away as I sat there with my mouth hanging open as I had never been so blatantly profiled in my life. I was honestly speechless and in disbelief quite honest that someone would be so bold to take $5 worth of items out of my cart after I've been there for less than 15 minutes assuming I was about to steal them. She didn't even wait for my permission she just took them. After I was able to regain my composure my boyfriend and I decided that that was not the place that we needed to be shopping and that I would be contacting corporate office in order to complain on this irrational, rude, prejudiced sorry excuse for a customer service representative I thought they might would like to know the way they were treating cash carrying would be customers. On my way out the door, & I wish I could say another word than woman but she had the audacity to ask me if I was ready to check out. At which point I said that no I was not checking out that I was leaving because she had offended me by profiling me acting like I was about to steal her $5 worth of items. Gail was her name I found out when I went back in to find out because I was too angry to ask before I walked out the door the first time. So, this one-star review that I have to give because I cannot give zero stars is solely due to the treatment I got by that miserable, self-loathing woman who told me her name was Gail which probably wasn't even true. Paying more attention to me as I was doing nothing but browsing excitedly for the upcoming holiday. I hope Halloween shows that woman what it's made out of. I have never had such a horrible experience doing anything related to Halloween as I did in that store. And unfortunately THERE IS NO CORPORATE, it's the only freaking one! So,of course if I call there to I'm probably going to get ahold of Gail. Who I'm sure has some type of justification to herself but if she wants to show anything and or try and explain or show the security camera to anybody is going to have a hard time explaining why she decided she was going to snatch the items out of my cart. The only reason someone should be doing that

Wonderful customer experience working with Gail on our balloon arch. She was very personable and communicative. Not to mention, our balloon arch was perfect! Thank you all! It was a lovely touch to have a person to talk to directly during this process!

We love party paradise. About a year ago we celebrated both of my children’s birthdays there. It gave a great little venue and interesting sites for our toddler to explore throughout the store. There is nothing more convenient than having supplies at the venue especially when the party has 2 themes.
Today we traveled from Cincinnati to let my indecisive 7 year old pick a Halloween costume and they have the best selection. On top of options the staff is incredibly embracing of kids. They helped her get out and refold costumes to try them on. It is such a friendly place.

Staff was very professional and helpful throughout the event, however an hour of interactive games and dance lessons were ruined by the faulty music system. The children were at a standstill because our games and dances required music which we had planned on playing using the system that comes with the space. (Not YOUTUBE, as suggested by the owner)
I regret spending that amount of money and extra for additional set up time to insure baby boys birthday was a good time.
Unfortunately This was the worst birthday for our 5 year old;
But hey, at least the kids had fun playing with their party favors and eating ??♂️

Party Paradise supplied balloons for my dad's 90th Birthday Celebration. The colors were black and gold with the number 90 in gold. They were beautiful! The owner of Party Paradise delivered the balloons and set them up. I will use Party Paradise again. Great place to purchase decorations for any occasion. Thank you Party Paradise.
