Bring earplugs. Not impressed. Walls are thin. People were making noise outside until well past midnight. Sirens on the regular. It's a bed and a shower. Otherwise this place sucks.Walkability: Location is great. Yum center and 4th St are very close.

The location was very convenient to our conference at the convention center. The room was basic but clean and we had clean towels every day. The floor is hardwood like many hotels today and hard to keep clean. The price was good especially if staying more than one night. Parking is cheaper than anywhere else. We had to ask for receipts when checking out but everyone was very polite. It's a little noisy at night due to a busy corner but otherwise a good place to stay at a reasonable price.Nearby activities: It's very close to the convention center and nearby restaurantsFood & drinks: There's a free breakfast with pancakes, cereal, yogurt, bagels and muffins. Plus there's coffee, milk and juice.

bed was comfy, sheets were sadly polyester, clean room (except laminate floor stained my socks/feet somehow), good water pressure in shower & powerful toilet flush, lots of parking in sketchy 'hood.checking in was awkward as door was locked with no note from front desk staff as to why.breakfast had pancakes option and ok selection but staff wasn't very friendly for two nights which we were there. would have liked an offer of more towels or something as we were there longer than most guests.Nearby activities: lots of Bourbon tours nearby and close to Louisville slugger museumWalkability: couple blocks from touristy stuff

You get what you pay for. We went cheap for a quick one night stay on our drive to TN from WI. The location was nice. The staff was friendly. The rooms were old and pretty beat up. There was a big DARK stain on the chair in our room. There were a few hairs in the bathtub upon arrival, and we found a couple of dead bugs. Looked like a pretty quick high level clean is what happens in between visitors, not very thorough. It worked for what we needed it too, but I would not stay again.

The location was right where we wanted compared to where we were going. The neighborhood was not so great. To be fair, we walked to our convention in the morning, then back after 2am, so things were weird after 2am.The room size was bigger than I expected, with all the furniture one would want in a room (desk, 2 chairs, bed, closet, end tables, a dresser with a TV, even a microwave, coffee pot and mini-fridge). The bed was OK. It had a foam topper that kept moving around. The pillows were somewhat fluffy but not supportive.Cleanliness...well, it seemed somewhat clean. The floors seemed new and were not carpeted, but they were OK until we tracked in dirt. The bathroom seemed pretty clean, too. The sheets had stains on them. There was a pink stain on the fitted sheet, and all of the pillow cases had some kind of mark on them. We didn't inspect the top sheet. The top cover was old looking and was quite pilly. We dealt with it. We were afraid new sheets might be worse and assumed they cleaned them, just didn't bleach them.We had a different idea of what the breakfast was going to be. They had bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, toast, a pancake maker, fruit, juice, milk, coffee, oatmeal, and maybe something else. Without eating yogurt, the only protein was peanut butter and cream cheese. It was fine and we made it work. The front desk staff was pleasant enough. We didn't really need to deal with them other than check in and out.We were there for a convention. We just needed a place to sleep, and that's all the time we spent in the room. For that, it was fine. If we were spending more time there, I think I would have preferred spend more and stay somewhere else.Rooms: Fine rooms. Somewhat clean. Fridge, microwave, TV, among the other standard furniture. Sheets were stained. Bed was OK.Safety: It was OK. I felt a little uneasy a few times with the neighborhood and the clientele, but nothing really stood out as dangerous.Walkability: It was a 10 minute walk to where we were going. The walk was pretty nice. Sidewalks the whole way.Food & drinks: Breakfast at the hotel was OK. Just the bagel, muffin, yogurt type breakfast, not eggs, sausage, and that.

Saw two drug deals go down in the parking lot but other than that it is what you would expect for an econo lodge

The location felt very unsafe: we arrived and immediately a homeless man walked up to our group of just high school girls and female chaperones and told us that selling drugs could make us a ton of money and he kept asking what us beautiful women were out doing. That’s just the beginning. It took 30 minutes for them to check us in. Our rooms were extremely underwhelming and lacked consistency. One was fine, but others included amenities such as: blood on the bathroom door, a broken door lock, unswept floors, public hair in the bed sheets, and a bullet hole in another door. The service wasn’t bad, but that was just about it. The vending machine was sold out of everything and the only other one was located in the fitness room and only took cash; which was just inconvenient enough to be annoying. Overall, it was a wonderful location and the price to park wasn’t bad, but we did not feel safe. If you are willing to sacrifice amenities and good hygiene for the location and low cost - this hotel is for you.Rooms: Unclean and suspect.Safety: Don’t leave your valuables in your room. When we arrived, a women had had her phone stolen while she was on the premise. Felt very unsafe and we left the tv on in hopes of preventing a break in while we were gone. One of our groups members had staff enter the room even when she put up the “do not disturb” sign on the door.Walkability: Within walking distance of pretty much everything and a short drive for everything else.Food & drinks: Good blueberry muffins.Noteworthy details: The parking lot was littered and several homeless people congregated there at different points.

Rooms were ok about like any small Hotel. The floors were dirty. We wore our shoes when not in bed because your feet would get filthy. Toilet sits very low so if you are tall your knees end up in your throat. Door frame in bathroom had been somewhat repaired but was janky looking. Have to pay to park in the hotel parking lot. Why the hell you got to pay for parking in a place that you are paying to stay?!? Won't stay here again!! Honestly will never visit Louisville again. Have never in my life been spit on for being white!!!

Econo Lodge is situated close to the center of Louisville, and in close vicinity to some important locations such as the Kentucky International Convention Center (5 minutes walking distance). The receptionists were welcoming & helpful. They even recommended attractions close by, which are worth visiting. The rooms were clean, spacious & the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean; however, the space was limited. Room amenities such as towels and soap were provided. The breakfast was alright, which included bagels, hot pancakes, bread, cereals, yogurt etc. The staff was friendly and the room service was good as well.

Was in town for a distillery tour. Asked if I could park in the lot for a two hour duration when the firework show was happening later that night. The parking was $10 when everywhere else was at least $40. Really appreciated the gesture to allow me to park for those two hours. Highly recommend as they are very hospitable.

Room was very clean and check in was easy. Hotel is right downtown and is in walking distance of anything in the downtown area. Breakfast was nice. Only complaint is that it was very loud but that isn't the hotels fault.
