Jim initially agreed to repair a broken crown on my high end Orient Diver's watch. I paid for a service in which he told me he found a replacement crown that was identical. However, less than a week later - the crown again broke under minimal use! I suspected Jim merely glued the broken crown together rather than finding a new replacement.I sent the watch to Jim again, and when it was shipped back to me - the watch was a broken mess. The entire crown now appeared to be glued to the movement and doesn't even work any more. I could not wind or change the date anymore with the crown. I had to ship this to Orient for an expensive proper repair, in which the entire movement (and crown) had to be replaced. This experience suggests to me Jim is dishonest and incompetent.

He charged me for a service that he didn't actually do. He said that he would do a full service on my watch. however when i got it back, the crystal was not sitting flush and there were some scratches on the hands. i ended up taking my watch to a Rolex watchmaker. They provided me photos of the dirty movement and explained how a "fully serviced" watch would not look that dirty or oils under gems would not be clumped/opaque. Be sure that he is actually doing the work that he says he does

When you need someone who knows what they are doing, this is a great place to go. It is inside a jewelry store, so note that when you are looking for it. It is also right on Main Street, so plan your parking accordingly. Great service performed quickly!

My wife gave me this Seamaster as an anniversary gift. Not being from Lexington I took it to an Omega retailer in town, which ended up being a big mistake. They butchered several screws and were still unable to size the watch. Someone mentioned going to Jim and I am very glad I did. He was extremely friendly and was able to size the watch very quickly. He even went as far as swapping out screws that were ruined by the prior attempt. Furthermore after finding out I was not from Lexington he did not charge me for his time. I cannot say enough good things about him. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic customer service that you can only get going into an actual brick and mortar store. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Will definitely do business with him again and be completely confident delivering any watch you own into his care, from Rolex to Timex he has you covered.

Embedded in Joe Rosenberg Jewelers, this is an excellent place for watch repair!I took mine in to get a new battery because it is a wooden watch and I wanted to be careful with it.The battery was replaced in less than 5 minutes and it was only 11.00.This shop also houses some really cool historic items in including whiskey from the prohibition era (dated 1931!) and the prescription for a tbsp every two hours. It's worth it to walk in and see that!
