Our journey towards building our family started back in 2018, and adoption was always on our minds, even though Heart To Home wasn't initially on our radar. Living in Northern Kentucky, we had a shortlist of three adoption agencies, all of which were outside our home state (nationally, Cincinnati, and California). We soon realized the importance of having an agency in our own state when dealing with agencies from other areas. It was during this time that we serendipitously discovered Heart To Home through an online search.\\n\\nRight from our initial emails and conversations with Leigh, we felt an immediate connection and knew we had found the right agency for us. We decided to change course and work with Heart To Home because Leigh appeared to be a true advocate for all parties involved in the adoption process. Ensuring that the child finds a loving and nurturing home was her top priority, which deeply resonated with us as a couple of color looking to adopt a child of color. Representation is crucial, and Heart To Home understood that.\\n\\nLeigh's expertise was evident throughout the entire process, and she provided invaluable guidance every step of the way. We eventually worked closely with Rebecca, who was nothing short of amazing. Heart To Home also facilitated our interactions with the birth mother and helped us navigate the complexities of adoption, which can sometimes be stressful.\\n\\nOne particularly helpful aspect of our experience was receiving feedback on our profile book from Leigh. This feedback was instrumental in crafting a profile that truly represented us. While our journey moved relatively quickly, we understand that the adoption process can vary in duration. In our case, we submitted our profile book in early March 2023, received the call just four weeks later, and finalized the adoption on August 21st, 2023.\\n\\nWe wholeheartedly recommend Heart To Home to anyone considering adoption. Leigh and her team are truly exceptional. Their dedication and support during this life-changing process, for us as adoptive parents, the birth mother, and our precious \\\"chicken nugget\\\" (baby), have left us profoundly grateful. Heart To Home has made our dreams of parenthood a reality, and we couldn't thank them enough.

My husband and I have had our share of failed matches as we’ve worked with several agencies, National and local. However, none compare to the Heart to Home Team’s professionalism. Leigh and her Team were ultimate professionals throughout our entire process. We started working with Heart to Home in May - they carefully held our hands through every step of the process. We were so very lucky to match quickly with a birth family, and brought our beautiful miracle baby home less than four months later! Leigh is an amazing human in general, and even better at facilitating and guiding the gift that is adoption. We are forever thankful for HTH, and feel like the luckiest people ever to have our precious quadruple rainbow baby. I cannot recommend Heart to Home enough. This is your sign to take that leap with HTH! Forever grateful.

My spouse and I had a great experience with Heart to Home. Leigh is compassionate and understanding and shows deep care for both placing and adopting families. We were at ease with Leigh and Heart to Home from our first interactions and felt comfortable with the whole process from initial home study through the birth, placement and post-placement visits. Leigh is honest about all aspects of the process and we hold her and Heart to Home in the highest regard.

Leigh made this stressful and at times confusing process so easy and comfortable. I would recommend Heart to Home agency to anyone. She was so available and streamlined a lot of processes for us. Leigh will forever hold a special place in my heart but more than that she has earned my respect because of her straight to the point style of communication. So grateful for this experience!

HTH deserves all the stars!! What initially attracted us was how dedicated they are to supporting birth families both during and after placement. It was very important to us to have an agency that supports the whole adoption triad and Heart to Home is 110% that agency! As adoptive parents, Leigh and Kerry were incredibly helpful from the first page of our home study to our final court date and beyond. I know they're also looking out for birth families with the same help and support. I really can't imagine going through the adoption process with anyone else!

Leigh was so helpful, compassionate, and kind throughout our entire adoption journey. Adoption could be a complicated process but she made it simple and easy. She truly has a gift for supporting and helping birth mothers and adoptive families as well as helping to develop positive relationships with everyone involved. Leigh and her team were phenomenal to work with. They were by our first mom's side every step of the way and stepped back when needed. They were available and eager to help whenever we needed it. It is so important in the adoption world to find and work with people of the highest ethics and integrity, who see first moms/birth moms as people whose feelings are paramount. Leigh is that person, and for that reason she will always be among our very first phone calls should we decide to adopt again.

Heart to Home is amazing! Leigh and Caroline were both so accommodating and welcoming with everything. Our adoption took place in Arizona and they did everything they could to help us out during this time. If we ever adopted again we would for sure use them!
