No place I love more on a snowy/rainy day than a used book store, and Glovers is a great one.

Not a great selection in the fiction category but lots and lots of obscure stuff here that is worth checking out, especially if one is into literary criticism.

Most amazing bookstore in Lexington!!! John is friendly and knowledgeable. He has a great selection of Kentuckiana and, surprisingly, Floridian books. Highly recommend!!!

Decent place, my family owns. There was a fake fam with same last name in area. They are retiring here and refuse to transfer business over as well which shows, they're fraud fam. Business isn't too good anymore

Terrible. ABAA member which should have been enough to warn me off. ABAA is a medieval guild granting a fake legitimacy to scam artists.

Wow! This is a book lovers paradise! I love a bookstore that's inside a cute old house. The staircase creaked as I walked to the second level and it made me giddy. There are so many cool old looking books here. There is some fun artwork laying around in various spots as well. This is the kind of place that you kind of have to know what you're looking for or you can feel a little overwhelmed. The gentleman behind the counter immediately offered assistance if needed. If you are a book addict like me, take the time to stop in. You won't be disappointed.

There is an exceptional collection of Kentucky and local history books. Space is tight, so volumes are not displayed as well as they could be. Allocate plenty of time to dig through the stacks. Lighting is dim -- bring a flashlight. Prices are market range. No real bargains, but no gouging either.
