Reviews of being disorganized were unfounded. There was wall to wall stuff but a definite method to the madness and most were reasonably priced. A nice selection of all kinds of nerdom. Complaints of bad service... I'd have to agree. We were met with a gruff "lemmeknowifyouneedanything" as the man then shut himself in the back room quite literally until we left and then he emerged when we opened the door. It was fine for us bc we were perusing but it certainly did not amplify our experience.

Comic Interlude is the best shop in town. Their customer service is outstanding. The only people that rate it lower are never actual customersto this fine establishment

Horrible staff. I don't know if he's the owner or just an old guy that works there but he cussed my brother out for parking slightly crooked. He was still in his spot, not on the lines but I guess this guy has to have a problem anyways. Mind you my brother is recovering from a bone marrow transplant and 2 times cancer survivor and is currently pretty sick from treatment and you can tell this by looking at him. But this old dude still thought it was ok to cuss him, and my brother was being polite and he wasn't even parked near him he was spaces away. The guy drives an old red car with a busted out window. I highly recommend you all fire him, and if he's the owner, I hope he loses his store for treating cancer patients and potential customers so rudely!Good luck, God sees you.

My wife and I are visiting from Florida and stopped by this store. Lots of cool stuff!Kevin, the owner was very friendly and helpful with a book I was looking for. We hope to shop there again before we go home.

This store is amazing! I’m relatively new to the comic space as I’m bigger into movies and standard books, however Kevin (the owner) made me feel very welcomed and let me ask him plenty of questions over my hour In the store. I ended up leaving with Volume 1 of “Something is killing the children” and when I went back for volume 2 it wasn’t there. Kevin immediately let me know that he was ordering more and that he would hold them for me along with talking to me for 45 minutes about everything from series he enjoys to the history of the store and I never once felt unwelcome or like I was bothering him. Great store, giant selection great people. I’ll be heading back this week for my books and probably many times after that!

Great selection of new and old comics but the smell in the store is terrible! I’ve been twice in the last couple of years (thinking the second time it would be better) but…no. It smells like a public restroom with dirty toilets. Also the store is so crammed full that you can’t really shop the new comics wall on the right hand side because the aisle is so narrow and a guy (maybe the owner) has his work station at one corner in that area that makes it hard to get around him.

Phenomenal shop, I absolutely love this store. I collect comic omnibus and Interlude has the biggest collection and verity of omnibus in or around this area. The selection of action figures are breathtaking, you walk into the store and your almost overwhelmed by how action figures there is hanging. I am not talking about new figures you'd find at Walmart, they have those as well but I'm referring to 70s and 80s and early 90s. My suggestion is just go and walk around the store, if you don't see what your looking for I guarantee you'll find something want. The owner is very nice, talking with him is like catching up with someone you've known your entire life, he really goes out of his way to make sure you have a great experience. I have always been a DC Comic reader, but I was interested in trying Marvel Comics. So as you imagine I had questions, the owner came to explain the timeliness and what books and stories go together. Not once did he try and sale me anything, just a conversation between two people about comics. I'm very pleased with the shop and the service, I can't say enough good things about this shop. I am now a life time shopper, they earned my business and I would recommend you giving them a try to earn yours. You will not regret it, I guarantee.

They always make you feel welcomed. Toys look insanely awesome while they also got a massive comic selection. Definitely the g spot of comics here in Lexington ky.Edit:went in again today and as always, Kevin is an awesome guy. Definitely recommend dropping by this place

I've been coming to this comic book store since I was a kid . The owner is very cool and passionate about comic books . I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for comic books and other collectibles

My husband and I came in on Saturday with our two kids to browse. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Everything is orderly and well organized and the variety of genres is HUGE. We were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices, no gouging here. We weren't rushed or shadowed and our children were allowed to browse at their leisure without interruption. This is a very special place. I highly recommend bringing your kiddos here, the owner is really kind and helpful.

This place has a wide range of comics and figures for really good prices, and the staff is cool and nice to work with. This has been the coolest comic book store ive been too. P.s. im not a bot.

They have A LOT of collectible items, action figures etc. But the guy that was there was busy with boxes and still VERY friendly. I bought a couple (three I think) G.I. Joe classified figures and the price was really good!

I needed to post a review because i've seen a bunch of old bad reviews that I wanted to clarify. This is a great comic shop. It is small but there never gonna be a hundred people in there to where it matters that much. The employees have always been great to me, i've been at uk and coming here for three years and every time i've needed help with something or looked confused they've always helped and i've always been greeted if they weren't busy in the back, sometimes even if they were. The claim about a limited selection in mostly false. Behind the register they have an awesome collection of cornerstone older comics in great condition and while they're back issue boxes are quite full it's honestly the best they can do with the space they have and it's organized pretty decently so as long as you know what your looking for there's no issue! Don't let any of these reviews fool you this is a great store for anybody looking to grab a couple good books to read. Only complaint is that it's not open on monday's or sundays.

They only have new comics. The pictures on here are very misleading. The place is a cluttered mess. I drove from Indy to check them out and everything they have was going on eBay. Just a bunch of action figures and most aren't easily accessible. Disappointing trip.

Asked for weeks about back issue stock and was told the owner took it all to a con, but when he gets back then I can go through it all myself. The owner comes back from the con and I ask about back issue stock and I’m told it’s for online purchase only and I couldn’t look through it.
