I was having trouble with my Lexus not starting and originally had it towed to a different shop. They assumed it was the starter but weren’t sure. They quoted me $1100 to replace it. At the end of their inspection they told me they actually didn’t know what the problem was so I had to take it somewhere else.
The tow truck driver recommended Abe’s because of their fair pricing and honesty. I am relatively new to Lexington and didn’t know of any good shops around here so I took his word for it. A coworker of mine also knows the family and said they were good people. They were immediately able to pinpoint the starter being the issue and gave me a lower quote on fixing it.
I will be sure to go to Abe’s for any car troubles I may have in the future!

I love this place. Every time I’ve needed car repair, they have delivered. When they fix the problem, it stays fixed. Great staff and very professional. I highly highly recommend Abe’s!

I’ve been using this shop almost exclusively for more than five years. It is rare to find a mechanic who is as honest, trustworthy and communicative as Abe. I’ve taken 4 different vehicles I’ve owned to this shop and have always had my concerns addressed in a professional manner. Abe’s pricing is fair and he’s never tried to sell me repairs that I didn’t need to have done, I know because I have a decent cache of automotive knowledge, but lack the time and equipment needed to do repairs myself. I often know what needs to be done on my vehicles before taking them in. I’ve been so satisfied by the service I’ve received at Abe’s that I’ve recommended this shop to several close friends and family members. Don’t take your car anywhere else.

I have delta with Abes Foreign Auto for 5 years. They are all great guys. They do excellent work. They don't do just foreign cars. Go check them out. You will love them.

These guys are top notch awesome. They're always friendly, services are done quick and they'll even show ya what they're talking about instead of just telling ya and being done. They don't nickel and dime you with charges and every single person I've dealt with any time I've gone in has been very polite and professional while still managing to be personable. 10 of 10 recommend!

Great experience from Abe and his crew. They got the brakes on my car fully replaced with good quality components for literally half what the dealer wanted, and were able to get me in and out same day. Great value and excellent service!

We always use Abe's. Last week we had a problem with water coming in the floorboard. Didn't know if it was major or minor. Called and Charles said he thought he had an idea what it was. Turned out to be minor. When I asked for the bill they told us nothing because it was very minor. What shop will do anything for free? Always use Abe's.

One of the only places in Lexington that I trust to work on my car. They’re always great about getting me in and out quickly and are amazing at explaining what the issue is and what can be done to fix it. Staff is great and friendly. I could not recommend them more.

I went to abe's car repair and was told that I needed a new alternator and paid $700 to get it fixed. Two days later, my car would not start again, so I took it back and they told me they examined my whole car and there was NOTHING wrong with it. The following week, I then was stranded in Louisville with my "perfectly good" car that would not start at all and now could not even be jumped. To say that I am dissatisfied is an understatement, and I would not recommend this car repair service to anyone as I ultimately wasted my time and money.
