I had a great experience, they didn't have what I was looking for but after chatting with someone(assuming owner) who had excitement to help and a love for bourbon, he knew my taste and gave me two recommendations that blew my socks off and both bottles will have a permanent spot in my cabinet. I'm not from witchita but will make a stop here every time I'm in town. Thanks for the great experience

Have gone here for years but will cease doing so as they have instituted a new policy in which they are passing their credit/debit card charges the business usually pays on to the consumer. So instead of paying the advertised price you see when you’re grabbing the beverage off the shelf, there’s really a hidden price of 4%-5% more if you’re using a card. When you get up to the counter, you find out you get the benefit of paying extra because you use a card instead of cash.If this was clearly stated with each bottle on the shelf (e.g. $10.50 cash, $10.92 card), the consumer would at least have the chance to make an informed decision before they get to the checkout instead of feeling hoodwinked when they happen to catch the discrepancy at checkout. This is just bad business.This practice completely ignores the basic tenants of microeconomics, namely, substitutes. There’s a liquor store substitute on the other side of La Cross; why would you make a policy like this knowing that? Moreover, within a two mile range there are several more options, importantly, Jacobs, who already has lower prices but is slightly less convenient. This used to be my substitute to Jacobs when I didn’t want to drive the extra two miles. Now Jacobs will be my go-to every time or JTs that’s 200 years away.If anything, set the cost the card paying customers will pay (subtotal) at the shelf and give cash paying customers a discount at the counter. Then cash paying customers are happily surprised and card paying customers will pay what they thought they’d pay, most being blissfully unaware they’re even paying 4%-5% more.

Great selection for beer and wine. It’s also nice to be able to grab some BBQ essentials like pellets or new seasonings for the weekend cookout!

Clean well organized store. Not overly cluttered with boxes and displays. Friendly knowledgable staff and a huge beer and liquor selection. Tons of pre mixed drinks also.

Was immediately greeted and asked if she could help me find anything. I wanted to browse so she let me wander and look at the huge assortment and helped me along the way. It was encouraging to see a few "regulars" come in which lets me know there are people loyal to the store. I wanted something different so left with some new beer and a Christmas packet and will definitely be back. Very good selection of everything you might need or want, prices were very good, and they offered a lot of sale or special items.

I've always seen the staff being friendly and helpful. There's a great wine collection along with some good imported beer. There's parking right in front of the store.
