Very friendly staff, good quality food, and things are very easy to find. It's an organized establishment, grocery pick up is always very convenient as well. You get what you pay for

This was our go-to store for years, but things have really fallen to pieces recently. This is entirely due to a decline in service. In switching their rewards 'perks' card recently, they decided to proceed without a plan such that there really is no rewards plan anymore. Further, their self- checkout lanes (the larger ones) are always closed. This would have not been a big deal, but we really prefer to bag our own groceries in an effort to protect them from the outright abuse they receive in the hands of the baggers. (Honestly, no baggers is a better system to produce-dropping and heavy items on top of lighter, more delicate ones).I feel so persnickety writing this, but I truly hope management sees this- for other's sake -because we're unlikely to continue using Hy Vee.

One of my favorite places to shop and for hot lunch or dinner. But the coconut pecan cookies from the bakery are The Best on this Planet! Freeze well too!

Sierra at the pharmacy is the best! She helped me navigate finding my daughter’s medication, which is apparently in short supply. Found my pharmacy moving forward!

I have used this pharmacy for years and the pharmacists are always so helpful! Especially with the staff shortages and supply issues that they (and many other businesses) have been facing for some time now, it's really great to know they will always do their best to get things taken care of. Since most pharmacies are having a particularly difficult time getting many medications stocked at this time, I've learned that it's always best to call them if you have any questions or concerns about being able to get a prescription filled. I also use auto refills whenever possible to help me avoid waiting until the last minute to request my refills so I know that if it's not ready on time, I will have a few days of cushion if they're having an issue getting a certain medication so I will either already be on the list to have it filled as soon as they receive it or know to call around to other pharmacies if this one will not be sure if a shipment will arrive before I run out. I find the app to be helpful for tracking prescriptions so I know right away if I need to call and check in- sometimes it's something as simple as insurance not covering a particular medication and it just needs my approval to fill it without insurance before they can proceed... When that happens, they are always quick to go over pricing available through other options such as GoodRx or their in-house discount program to find the best price if insurance won't cover something.Their vaccine clinic is great, too. Even during peak times when many people are scheduled, they are very efficient and nice.Overall, the staff at this pharmacy are always so friendly and go above and beyond to help however they can if there is ever any issue, which is why I will continue to be a loyal customer!

I meet up with a few guys for breakfast at the Market Grill occasionally and am really happy with the menu items. The biscuits and gravy are delicious and if you want something a little more simple, get the morning melt on your choice of biscuit or muffin with egg and sausage, ham, or bacon- delish! Chef Paul cooks up some good stuff back there and when you're done, pick up your groceries for the way home. There are plenty of tables and booths to choose from for dining. Try it out!

This location post renovation is outstanding. It is the only store we shop at. Deli, produce and meat department are superior to any other store in area. Excellent service and it's great to see all the young people working there. Employee Owned says it all.

The staff here have been extremely rude so far. I called to have a prescription transferred. If it weren't for the cost I'd go right back to where I was. But bad customer service only goes so far and at this point I'm evaluating if it's worth it.7 months later and still attitudes. I actually called because my prescription was accidentally sent to another pharmacy so I reached out here to ask a few questions about what the price would be, and other questions about the medication. This lady had the absolute nastiest attitude (7/22/22, 8:20am). That being said, sticking with Hen House Pharmacy and just making the drive. Now I'm glad that it got sent there by accident. I've never had one person treat me that way or even not smile when I walked into a hen house pharmacy. 7/22/22.

I enjoy this Hy-Vee as much as one can enjoy a grocery store. They have a large selection of groceries. I enjoy their health food selection, nice staff, and clean shopping conditions. I really enjoy the mobile order. It is so easy to drive up and they put the groceries in my car and I am on my way. I go out of my way to go to this grocery store.

Disappointed to buy these Roma tomatoes two days ago only to see they were moldy. They were shrink wrapped in this tray with plastic wrap. Were they disguising produce that was past its prime? I thought it was odd the Roma tomatoes were prepackaged as I've always found them merchandised so you could pick the ones you wanted. I won't make that mistake again.

I want to lead this off with some mad respect for everyone not only hustling throughout this ridiculously long-lasting pandemic, but also one of the coldest stretches in KC weather history. That being said, I ain't coming back here for a long time. We've pivoted to grocery pickups of late, and most spots are great. Hy-Vee bombed it. The communication was decent, and that's about the extent of it. When I pulled up to the stall, it looked like that chaotic scene in E.T. when the scientists take over the house. There were bright headlights and floodlights and idling cars. Workers were running all around (again, mad respect). There was no rhyme or reason to any of it. People were getting out of their cars upset; I didn't notice it for a while, blissfully scrolling in my car. Before I knew it, it had been well over a half hour from my pickup time. Then 45 minutes. Crazy amount of time to just sit there, and honestly I could've shopped myself three times over in that time span. When they finally made it, they crammed the groceries in so fast and furious that a bag broke and a couple items hit the deck. They had to run back in to restock them (I would've been fine with them how they were, and I was super anxious to go). The process took so long that the dinner I picked up on the way had to wait for another day, as it got too cold and way too late in the night to eat it. Whole Foods & Wal-Mart have been nailing the logistics of the grocery pickup, and surely others beyond those two. Hy-Vee isn't my favorite in general, and them flubbing the process so badly will have me staying away for a while.
