I love Westlake hardware as the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There may be less expensive options but if you’re looking for a more personal experience look no further.

We recently went in to Ace to grab a few tools and screws to replace a license plate on my car. Every employee we met was so helpful and pointed us in the right direction for tools and also came out to help us take a very stripped and stuck screw out (Thank you Alexander). We have had the best experience here and will be back!

I cannot express how great of an experience I just had, customer service still does exist! I went to Ace Hardware on an extremely hot day with an issue, I could not get the temporary tags off my car due to the screws being in too tightly. I immediately was asked if I needed help by employee David Tate. For the next thirty minutes he went above and beyond as he offered to go take a look at the issue. On this 93 degree day he used multiple tools to get the issue fixed and me on my way. I cannot explain just how helpful he was, I highly recommend this store if you are looking for employees that care!

I wish I read these reviews before going to this Ace Hardware. I usually have good experiences at Ace, after all they brand and market as a helpful store.I went in to get a simple screw and bolt for my bike. I had help finding the right piece, it took a while to locate the right one…I’m ready to check out, the guy at the counter asks me the price. I say to my husband, “oh he can just ask someone on the com line” but the cashier just stares blankly at us. Sooo I walk off to find someone to ask the price…and walk back. I ask my husband if he gave our rewards card info, that’s a no, and the cashier doesn’t offer to add it (we had enough items to warrant getting the points) At this point we just want to get out of the store. After we pay the cashier just stands there so we start picking up the large items…he’s not bagging anything…then he asks if we want a bag???My husband says no and we leave. Only to get home and find we don’t have the screw. This is just a case of poor training. I honestly felt bad for the cashier guy…no one ever trained him in how to take care of a customer. We won’t be back to this Ace.

I’ve attempted to buy paint from this location multiple times and they are not able to fulfill my order for various reasons each time. Extremely unreliable. Not going to waste my time with this location again.Specific details. I have never been able to purchase BM Advance from this location. Every other Ace Hardware has been reliable, just this location is an issue. I was told by the manager they aren’t able to stock the Base 3 because none of the Ace carry it. I just bought what I need from 95 and Mission.

I've got to congratulate this place for pulling off the combo of misleading a customer while still treating it like it's their own fault. Today I returned an online order I picked up here. The store manager/owner took the product, and didn't give me a refund. How on earth does that work? After processing the return, the manager claims he couldn't give me the refund because the original purchase was done online, but he only informed me of this AFTER he 'completed" the transaction. Lying through omission doesn't sound like the best business practice to me. In response to the simple request for a customer service phone number, I was told that there was "no obligation" to help me. help myself get a refund for the item I returned. And again, this lack of basic courtesy came not from a regular associate, but the store manager himself. I too used to go to the location on College and Quivera. The difference between the 2 locations is like night and day.

Awful service. Asked for help twice from the same employee who was talking to what sounded like a friend. First time walked me close to area and pointed. Second time, still talking to person, I asked him to confirm hardware was in package since I could hear it rattling and he arrogantly explained yes, you can hear it. Bought something I asked if I could return. Cashier said yes with receipt. Returned a few hours later with said receipt and different cashier said I could not return, not on receipt. The code did not match but amount did, clerk error? Asked if cashier code was on receipt, thought he'd remember me, and newest cashier said no and again could not return with a rude and arrogant tone. Used to love Ace Hardware at College and Quivira which has closed. Will not return to this one at College and Antioch.

Amazing experience here, had a gentleman greet me warmly when I walked in the door despite being busy helping another customer. I didn’t catch his name, but it was the same gentleman who also offered me popcorn when I walked out the door. I should note, it was Black Friday and most retail workers moan when they hear they have to work that day, but not this guy. Home Depot definitely doesn’t make you as excited to be there as Westlake does! Thank you Antioch Westlake.

Allways friendly employees, very knowledgeable. ALTHOUGH, the guys that stand by front door getting donations from customers is VERY irritating.
