Absolute fraudsters! They claim a 12 month membership is required to avoid cancelation fees. Then when you cancel, they charge you for a 13th month! James, the manager told me "you can cancel before 12 months and I'll charge you $60 for canceling, or you can cancel on 12 months and I'll charge you $30 for an extra month." I asked him how defrauding his customers is a good business model and he replied "I've been doing it for 8 years and we're doing just fine!"

Absolutely dishonest. When you sign up, they make you sign a 12 month contract (to avoid cancellation fees). Well it's been over 12 months, and I am continuing to be charged. Called and spoke with the general manager of this location and was told "I understand this isn't in the contract you signed, but it's what we do. We will not be refunding you." Regardless of the contract you sign, they will keep charging you - BEWARE. This is the reason they only accept credit cards.

It’s a good gym, spacious with a good locker room but I really don’t like how there’s only one pec fly machine in the entire gym. There are long queues sometimes for one machine.

I have a worst experience with Planet Fitness. I have enrolled for the membership for a month. Later due to some personal reasons I couldn't go to gym and I haven't paid for it for the next 2 months. Now, they're asking me to pay for the 2months for the services that I haven't used. They're asking me to pay a 117$ fee for the service I haven't used. Most Importantly the process to cancel the membership is pretty complicated. You'll need to go to the center to cancel the membership whereas, it's pretty easy to start the membership just one click on your mobile phone. I was in the Black card membership now, If I have to downgrade the membership they're asking me to pay an additional 29$+taxes fee to downgrade the membership which is their policy and to cancel the policy we'll need to pay a 58$ fee for cancelation. It'll be easy to start the membership but not to cancel or downgrade. There're a lot of complications. So, I suggest to read the agreement while you're signing.

Typical corporate gym set up. They really would rather you not come in so they can just take your money. If you want to cancel your membership, they will not refund any charges or prorate at any time. It is in your contract but just be aware. This location is an individual franchise location. Would recommend joining any other location over this one.

The gym is nice, the management is good. But the teens they hire here are awful. The girls working the front desk and rude and annoying. The male trainer here is no better. I feel bad for management.

Planet Fitness is very close to my house, is very reasonably priced, and has an energetic younger clientele.
