Olathe Transmission replaced the transmission valve body in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The part was in short supply following a united auto worker strike and the pandemic, but this shop was able to get the part in the same amount of time as the dealership (more than a month) for half the price, along with their added expertise in installation and reprogramming. So, I had the car towed from the dealership to Olathe Transmission. They took great care and had the car fixed in 2 days as promised after the part finally arrived.

Bright my car in, they looked at it and gave it to me straight that it wasn't worth fixing and to instead drive it until a total failure happened. I really appreciated the honesty and how quickly they were able to get me in.

About three years ago, I purchased a 2006 Town Car--a classic, the likes of which we won't see again. It is comfortable, fun to drive, and I have grown attached to it (just wish the mileage was better). So when the transmission started bumping between 1st and 2nd, I took it to Olathe Transmission for an opinion. They told me they could rebuild it and would guarantee the repair. I was torn about whether to put more money into a 17-year-old vehicle, but my affection for the car won the day. Less than a week later, it was repaired. The transmission shifts like it was brand new. With just over 200K miles, I figure it's good for at least another 150K, so I'll probably be gone before it is. This was not my first visit to Olathe Transmission. Several years ago, they recommended against trying to repair the transmission of a Civic, which had a chronic problem. They suggested I live with it, which I did, and it lasted a long time. Bottom line is: the folks at OTS can be trusted. Thanks, OTS, for enabling me to continue to enjoy driving my Lincoln.

I have had two transmissions put in at Olathe Transmission. The last one was 2 years ago for a f350 which cost $2900.00. I have another f350 fleet truck with the same transmission that started having issues so I dropped it off for them to look at. It took them 10 days to diagnose it and they ended up quoting a rebuild of a transmission for $5200.00. I asked them why they raised their prices so much in two years and they blamed it on COVID. I called two other transmission shops and got quotes for around $3000.00 making Olathe Transmission the highest quote I received. Not sure why the raised their prices so much. Maybe it’s because of the new manager Jeff that took over this year…

When they finished my fiends car, they left the car unlocked with things missing. Damaged parts including the gear shift and battery holder. The power chair controls no longer work anymore. Come on.

They didn't want to work on my car as it would have taken up a lift longer than they liked. I don't blame them because it would have been a loss of revenue. They could have worked on several other newer cars in that time. Mine is a 63 Thunderbird.

Highly recommend these guys! Took my Ram 2500 cummins here for a common problem with the 68rfe trans. 5th and 6th gears going out. Brent had me diagnosed and parts ordered within a few days. Went with a stage 2 HD trans rebuild. Put 10k miles on the trans so far and it’s still shifting great, no leaks, no issues. Once he had the parts the truck was done within 2 days. Great turn around and great customer service!Services: Transmission replacement

I purchased a used car that they stated they would be willing to stand behind the warranty remaining on the work completed even though im a new owner to this vehicle. That shows how confident you are in your work. Its just good buisiness management practice. Hopefully ill never need to use it. If any issues arrise i will update.Update: Had to get some work done. Jason took great care of me.Update: My transmission needs to be replaced again and the warranty is up ?

This is a company that knows what they are doing. I couldn't afford their help at this time but would trust them to take care of me in the future.

They scheduled me to drop off my car first thing in the morning and said that I should have an answer later that day. At about 1pm, I called just to check in and was told that they had gotten to my car and would call me back soon. The call came a little bit later, and he gave me great news. He had checked, cleaned, and replaced a dirty sensor, and he thought that was all that was wrong because that was the only error message that came back to him. He told me to come pick it up and to drive around and let him know if it was driving better. I am thrilled to say that is. I would definitely recommend Olathe Transmission. Just give them a call and set up an appointment to drop off your vehicle.

quoted me 3,600 + tax for a rebuild trying to blow the health of my transmission out of the water saying how burnt my fluid is and that it was slipping when in reality it was a burnt connector from age and it took a 32 dollar junk yard solenoid 60 dollar connector and the rest of 150 dollars on mercon v fluid. the truck drives great after 150 bucks. oh and to mention they pointed out this burnt connector. talk about just wanting to get paidService: Auto engine diagnostic
