This company has my grandfathers (Who is now deceased) 1970 Dodge Challenger and has taken payment in excess of $20k and has refused to finish the project. It is in pieces and down to a frame scattered all around his shop and we have now been blocked via phone and email and social media.
This guy is very unprofessional and called me numerous times intoxicated and drunk barely able to speak at all hours of the night making crazy demands then has no recollection of doing it. He has made empty threats and tried to strong arm us more and more for outrageous unjustifiable bills. He has taken a last payment of $3,800 dollars and then stopped all communication.
Since taking on this project I have discovered that he has done this to countless people and left their cars in shambles.

Do not trust your vehicle to this shop for anything more complicated than a paint job.
I took my motorcycle here for some mild custom work; installation of a larger fuel tank, paint, electrical accessory wiring, and some bolt-on aftermarket parts.
Two and a half years later, I brought my bike home in pieces on a trailer.
Phil would never commit to a delivery date, and when the scope of the painting changed from color-matching accessories to painting the whole vehicle, he would not provide any estimate of costs beyond what he gave me before the project started.
Every delay on the project was somehow my fault - apparently it's the customer's fault if he asks for something the shop doesn't really know how to do.
After making several payments in excess of $1000 each over the course of a year, I told Phil that I would not make any other payments unless it was for a finished vehicle. Several months later, he told me that he needed another $1000 payment in advance of any further work, and that there was no guarantee that the project would be finished for anything close to that amount.
I can't possibly recommend this shop to anyone.
Edit: because the owner responded to this, I felt that clarification was needed. When the bike was brought in, there was a basic amount of work that needed to be done due to the fact that it had been sitting in a garage for several years. That work was agreed upon up front. I told Phil that I wanted to do some customizing as well. That work was not clearly specified up front, and there was not much talk of whether or not certain ideas were feasible until they got to the point of being impossible.
To his credit, Phil talked me out of retrofitting expensive "halo" style headlights when all I really wanted was more light output from the stock housing.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, I will attach "before" and "after" photos of what Phil accomplished on my bike in the year and a half he had it.
At any rate, I will not be back.
