One of my favorite shopping mall. It has really a wide options of brands that you could choose from. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Facilities like the comfort rooms was clean and tidy. Will always comeback to shop here for my daily needs.

Very dry and depressing mall ? but if you have children and do not want to spend alot of money on children clothes, and toys etc Rhea Lana's is located here. Only opened two seasons out of the year but it's nice to stop by.

I dont know that it qualifies as a mall anymore. There is only one anchor store left and that is JCPENNEY'S every other store with any business sense made a run for it! Its more like a street turned inside out with a few stores who all have different hours. Its obvious it was and is mismanaged.

Only went to the Spirit Halloween store and the restrooms.. Seems pretty nice, though.I imagine it was really something special when malls were more popular.

I was here recently as yesterday at the time of writing this review. I had myself hyped because a mall housing over 117 vendors under one roof, is very encouraging to check out. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, I was disappointed and sad to see that a majority of those vendors were either closed up or just simply abandoned. All that's left anymore is just common food places and generic clothing brand stores. I'd imagine this mall was once booming with character if it can hold that many stores. Yet, it now serves as a subtle reminder of the dying mall trend that has been happening for a couple decades now.I would recommend only visiting here just to imagine what it would've been like if it was incredibly active. At least the escalators and elevator work.

It’s very slowly losing all its stores. They still have a food court and shops that sell shoes. Children’s museum is there.

We go here for the Play place and the children's museum. The play place is small but my children have the time of their lives there. And on top of that, it's never busy. The des moines children's museum is AMAZING! If you have young ones, go!

The mall may be empty and outdated, but I love the architecture of the mall and how it looks! It’s so fancy and I have many great memories of the place. I suggest that they update the mall a bit, but keep the 70s look because too many remodeled malls are too modern and boring, and I think they should bring back the family fun nights where kids get to jump in inflatables and do crafts. Doing these things might attract more attention and get more shops in the mall! I also miss the Games & More toy store, and I miss the candy clubhouse!

Have not been here in a long time. I've just been walking, looking around, and not many stores around. I just thought I share

Mall is kind of dead. It’s kind of sad. The day I went there was the 15th of March and it was fairly busy that day. Lots of folks chilling in the food courts and some lil kids playing at the play place. Auntie Anne’s closed and that makes Elmo sad!!!The mall itself is really pretty though! It was slightly dim but the mall was pretty. I loved going to family fun nights and getting food at auntie Anne’s. Miss cookie wrote a good review here too so make sure to check that out too.

Valley West Mall is definitely still a vital place to shop. Many, many new retail stores have opened. Wonderful new bakery and coffee shop. New entertainment venues too! Same nice and cozy atmosphere. Very bright and clean. Keep up the good work!!
