I love that they are open 7 days a week--helpful with last minute projects. The staff is friendly and helpful. Ace has an extensive selection of all sorts of hardware, home, garden items. I love browsing, never know what I'll find! The website is great for ship to home or an in-store pickup.

“I've been spending money here for almost 15 years. I've seen the staff go above and beyond to help. I've bought pipe and conduit and had it cut so it would fit in my car. I've had help locating items. They keep candy bars in the cold pop fridge in the summer. I've always been well greeted and well taken care of here. Their cat is polite to customers.It is nice to have a hardware store in town and I'm looking forward to another 15 years of doing business with them. I'll be 80 by then.They carry some fishing tackle, plumbing parts, yard trash bags, nuts, bolts, screws, nails, rope, chain, caulk, yard tools, hand tools, sand, salt, paint, muck boots, wire, outlets and lots of other stuff.Their prices and hours are very reasonable.To you people that gave 1 and 2 star reviews, I don't know if we have been in the same store.”

“We went to Lowe's to get the best deal on an appliance!! Kara made sure we did!!! She greeted us with a friendly smile!! She is very knowledgeable! The one we wanted wasn't in stock. We decided we would take the store model. Kara took a lot of care in preparing the appliance for us to get it home safely without breaking anything! When she called for help, all available employees came to help! We were greeted again by many employees!! Jonah and another member were there to assist with the heavy lifting! Christina came in at the end for a friendly conversation while we secured our new appliance!!! We will definitely be back to Lowe's in West Des Moines!!! Everyone is so helpful and responsive!! “Bought a Suncast storage #1932692 yesterday online , to pick up later. Stopped by on the way home and the bar code scanner didn't work but pressed the button and they put me right through. The guy that helped me couldn't have been more helpful and the process could not have gone smoother. He should be training others on how these things are done and how to treat customers !”

“I shop this specific Menards frequently for my real estate business needs as well as my personal home & garden needs. Whenever I submit the 11% rebate receipts I am promptly sent a check which I greatly appreciate. I recently took on a “dirt kitchen” project for my toddler, soon to be pre-school granddaughter. So many products, odds & ends I needed for this to make it the hands on discovery learning play experience I wanted for her. I was able to find everything I needed at this store & all of it including the wood was extremely reasonable. Appreciate the staff here. Thank you Menards!”
