“I really didn't see T.J. Maxx as a contender, but after my recent visit, I am re-evaluating my thoughts on T.J. Maxx. I found things I purchased that I wasn't expecting to find. T.J. Maxx seems to have upped their game as far as the variety of products they carry. I have but a few things that still bother me, though. Some things they could improve on include they need sufficient staff to manage the store they are understaffed. I found products which had been opened & strewn about & were not straightened up or tended to despite sufficient time to find to correct the mess. Also, more than a few wearable clothes were off their hangers & left to the floor. I say this, knowing how awful customers can treat items in a store. But after more than an hour, the mess should have been dealt with. People don't like to buy things off a floor when the hanger is close by. Generally, if I find something on the floor, I will re hang it, but after the first few times of doing so I may start asking for an employee discount - kidding, of course. I did find some darling & comfortable sandals which were an excellent purchase. I also found some unique bubbles specifically designed for pets & children & stay popped for longer than the average bubble which has been blown. The mess in the store is not enough to dissuade me from returning & I look forward to going back.”

“Your money goes alot further when you shop at Dollar Tree for often the same products. Take toothpastes for example, they carry many of the exact name brand toothpastes for so much less money. Same goes for dental floss an array of other products. Also their gift bags are hard to beat. Just as nice if not nicer than any other store for a whole lot less. Shop at Dollar Tree & your budget will thank you.”
