Buyer beware of extreme overpricing. I found a chair I liked at Earl May with the manufacturers tag stating suggested retail price of $699. I decided to keep looking and came across the same chair at the Fireplace store. But you'll notice at the fireplace store that all manufacturer price tags have been removed. I was told the best "sale price" they could give me was well over $700. At that point I knew immediately I was being had so I went home to research it online. I discovered a reputable home & garden center in Indianapolis that listed the chair for the correct MSRP of $699 and they had a 40% sale going. So I bought 6 chairs and saved thousands of dollars by not shopping at the fireplace store. I give 3 stars because the brands they carry are high quality but the pricing is deceitful and needs to be called out and addressed.

So happy I went them. From when I went in to purchase my wood stove till after the install. Derick was super knowledgeable/ very nice. The installers were very carful from start to finish. Everything is perfect. Thanks fireplace super store.

What great service, I purchased a new gas fireplace 6 years ago and just recently had a problem, I called and talked with Chris the owner and he walked me thru how to fix it myself.. THANK YOU!

Had a faux (gas) cast iron wood burning stove installed. Reasonable price for the unit and install. They are usually booked out a ways, so they must get a lot of business.

Very poor customer service!!! Will never set foot in that store again!!! Do not stand behind their productsOnly interested in selling after that you are on your own if there are any issues. Bought a leather couch, it ripped under the cushions within 6 months. Would not fix it or replace. Also had to wait a year to get my fireplace installed!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY buying from the fireplace super store.

Just awful customer service -- really should have read these reviews before going. Any review about the staff being rude is dead on. These are higher end items and would expect some customer service to go with the price. Bought two deck chairs. Came in 2 pieces - 1 would not go together and in fact a screw dropped through the deck. The other one came with a mismatched base. Took them back - asked for a screw to try to have them put the screws in, claimed to not have a single extra screw in the whole store - they had maybe 20 similar chairs on the floor and would NOT take a screw out of another chair to help us out. Had to be reminded twice to reorder the base - it came in wrong again and they treated my husband as if it was his problem.. RUDEST group ever. Will get this second chair and NEVER do business here again. All have written the company they rep for.

I was unable to pay for a fireplace at the time they gave it to me. I was waiting for my home improvement loan to finalize and the lady named Christina called and demanded I pay immediately.I was unable and offered to return it. She then threatened to harm me in every way possible way. She was rude, disrespectful and awful. I will never go back and advise you to do the same.

Went there with my father in law and son to figure out best setup for both our home and cabin. Worked with a older gentleman who was extremely knowledgeable on product in both our scenarios. We plan to proceed with purchasing fireplaces through them and their customer service is what made the difference!

I called the office to get some prices on Vermont Castings stove installation and purchase. The person on the phone was rude and pushy and I never did get a price!? I live almost an hour away from the store and she wouldn't give me a price for purchase and installation (I knew exactly what stoves I wanted) before I made the drive!? Why!?
