Chatted with the attendant and made it clear I wanted option 3, the $14 dollar wash. He obviously selected option 1, which I didn’t realize until I got the payment notification while in the wash bay. After the wash I went to the office to mention the oversight and that I’d like the difference back on my card.
The other attendant who tried to help was not informed at all. He had no apparent answer in how he should handle the situation, and at one point even asked if I wanted to go talk to the other attendant to see if he wanted to “go out of his own packet to cover it.” Of course that’s not what I wanted.
His solution was to give me a rewash code good for the next 48 hours. That’s not helpful in any way, as I neither need not want another wash in the next two days.
Honestly, it was a weird experience and I can’t see a scenario that I would ever return or recommend any family or friends patronize the business.
Maybe if I were allowed to make my own selections on the screen and not have to defend against the upsell or feel inherently pressured to tip for what ends up being a subpar wash, I’d have my money and be a satisfied, returning customer.

On 9/13 around 3:45 PM, I swung through the car wash on my way home for the weekend with a truck Dirty from gravel dust and a construction site. Brandon took the extra 60 seconds to power spray my wheels and running boards. Of the numerous times I have come through with my truck in a similar condition, this type of service was never given. Kudos to Brandon!

Love this car wash we was in town for a weekend an got 2 car washes while here! Brandon was our guy shout out to him! Man was really nice! Him an the lil boy did amazing on my truck!

A pretty good Carwash for the price and convenient location in Urbandale. The 5 star review is because of Brandon, who definitely is focused on quality for the customer and outworks everyone else at the Carwash. I’ve personally seen him pick up slack from others to make sure my truck was properly cleaned. He should definitely be a mentor to the rest of the crew, and in my opinion be supervisor of the entire operation in Urbandale.

I have been to this car wash in the past and this time was not good. The back of car is still dirty. The prices anymore for getting a car wash are crazy - $14 for the lowest. An attendant came out to ask which wash we wanted. Not sure why we would need an attendant as the information is right on the screen. Then he walked around the front of the vehicle to see why we came in (he said bugs)- can we not come in just because we want our car washed?! Then proceeds to ask us to leave a tip - tip for what?! Tipping culture is wild in 2024! Needless to say, we probably won’t be back!

Had some extra dirt in the bed of my truck and Brandon took the time to climb in and wash it. Haven’t had that anywhere else, great service!
