Visited Brown's Shoefit Storm Lake for the very first time today and found that the staff there was outstanding at what they do and Suzette was the best. I will definitely be going back there in the future. Thanks again......sincerely Daniel

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They were happy to see what they could order to fit my narrow foot. We've already bought 4 pairs of shoes here this year and we prefer to spend our dollars with local small businesses. They also offer a military discount. It is great that they appreciate the contributions Veterans have made in keeping our country free.

I will give 2 stars because we ultimately got what we should have.My wife went into Brown shoes in Storm Lake to buy a specific pair of shoes but, got talked into a pair of Hoka that was cheaper and was told they were much better for her feet. we still have the paper from what we thought was the manager with some of the big points about Hoka, not limited to a warranty for manufacturers defect but even wrote down if any problems at all to bring back and will replace once and then if any problems after that will send in to Hoka.Shoes lasted 4 months and had holes on top, no other pair of shoes had done this to her.She called Brown shoes and told her issue but then had surgery and several days of weather not allowing for travel, so it took a few weeks to get in there. I am not sure if someone different or if it was because my wife walked in wearing a shoulder sling after physical therapy but he said she walks wrong in them, if she would have gotten shoes she wanted this wouldnt have been an issue. The gentleman also told her Hoka is only met to last 3 months and he wont send them in just threw another pair down for her and said he will just eat that pair.Good thing i was in bakery next door and when wife was upset and told me why she wouldnt let me go back in.Keep in mind we still have original receipt and paper where it said any problems at all within a year bring them back in. I truly guess warranty at Brown shoes is only as good as paper it is written on.

Ciaran the owner/manager really knows his shoes. He does a wonderful job listening to concerns and needs to find a product that is comfortable for each individual.Store has a great selection of shoes for styles and colors and I appreciate having the ability to get shoes shipped to the store or directly to my door.Love that the shoe selection focuses on a quality product that will last compared to the fast fashion shoes that don’t last as long. The on hand supplies to provide proper shoe care is also appreciated.

I have been in a couple times the last month or so with a VERY busy 22 month old and 5 year old. Looking at shoes with kids in tow is never ideal so he had his hands full from the get-go. I had Travis wait on me both times and he was patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I try not to bring my toddlers into a shoe store unless I have to and when I do I feel like 90% of the time no one wants to actually measure their foot, the associate just asks me what size. Travis didn’t hesitate to measure to ensure the right fit. I am so glad he did. I would’ve gone with the wrong size. I will be back, excellent selection and customer service.
