Very interesting shop. I looked at all the jewelry (had to buy a pair of earrings) and lots of pottery. I was looking for a mug that would hold at least two cups...found one!! My friends were all looking at the quilting supplies. They were very excited with their purchases. Owner is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed our conversation.

Not only do you have the pleasure of driving through the Amana Colonies to reach Fern Hill, but the seasonal delights you will find in this quaint and charming old building. Decorative items that change by the season. Antiques and architectural pieces mixed with soaps, candles, quilts, and a few clothes. A true boutique. Spring, fall, and winter, the whole tone of the shop is updated. On the second floor, there is a truly unique and extensive quilt fabric shop. It's a gorgeous large collection of locally designed fabrics, others curated by color and theme. It's hard to leave here without a bag full of Fat Quarters even if you don't have a project in mind.
The staff throughout are knowledgeable and helpful.

A must stop when visiting the Amana colonies. The lady who owns it is full of knowledge on the colonies and is such a gem!! Such cute stuff in there. The ceramic pottery in there is so unique and beautiful.

Great eclectic store! Amazing quilt shop upstairs and gifts and antiques on main level. Architectural items in the basement. I never leave empty handed! Great helpful staff!
