Some of the best Mexican food in town. I highly recommend the tostadas, enchiladas and steak tacos. Always delicious, friendly waitress, never too busy to find a booth.

The lady taking my order so nice every time we go in. Most restaurants don't put much meat on but they load you up that's for sure. It's the only place in town I would definitely recommend. My whole family lives this place. Thank you for years of great food. Usually can't eat it all, great for leftovers!!

I always order a steak or ground beef torta with rice on the side and they never fail to serve a delicious, authentic and extremely affordable meal. The family owned business is definitely a hidden gem in Muscatine and I will always recommend them when asked who has the best Mexican food in town.

All you need to be able to make our authentic Mexican cuisines and more. With a very tasty and satisfying small restaurant towards the back.
Parking: Not very many choices on where to park. Either on the left side of store/restuarant or street. Wheelchair accessibility not good but I dont blame the place but more so on the location.

The food is always authentic and very good. Service is always pleasant and they do a great job giving you what you ordered and what you want. It is a little Mexican restaurant/grocery store that you would go to in Mexico. Very good place to go. Eaten there several times and it has been great every time

Authentic is an understatement. The amazing food is done within 10 min. THE STEAK TACOS ARE $2The employees are as extremely nice and polite. Great cheese selection along with other grocery! Will be spending a lot more money here.

Food is amazing made fresh with high quality ingredients. Steak torta was great flavored and steak was not grisly. My husband got guacamole and chips to start then steak tacos. Will be back for more great food.

I've had tortas all over Iowa, but none are ever as good as El Olmitos. Something about it is just a step above all the rest.
