McAtee tire in Marshalltown is the height of trustworthy service that goes above and beyond. My family and I have been customers for years and years. They always try to get us in when emergency strikes—AC going out in August, for example.
When my window stopped working, they could have chosen to charge me upwards of $600 for parts from a dealership and labor fees on top of that. Instead, Stan & co. directed me to find the parts by number online, watch a tutorial, & install it myself. It cost me $30 and took 10 minutes!
That's just one example of their level of conduct. The folks are friendly, the facility is bright and comfortable, and the service is second to none. You can't go wrong with this crew!

Car broke down in Grinnell but thought luckily I had an appointment the next day at McAtee so I got it towed there! Told them the situation, asked if they would take a look at it. Never got a call that it was done, called a week later and asked if it was done and they said yes. When I got my car back they said it was an “O2 Sensor” but that didn’t sound like something that would cause the break down? Trusted them and left. Didn’t even make it home before it broke down again! $200 I’ll never get back and still a broken car!

Had a flat in the making a while back. Limped it in and they got me right in and fixed up. It happened again yesterday and I just happened to be in the area early in rhe morning they opened and fixed me up. Thanks to Stan and Tanner!

I had a odd experience, for one I needed to get headlights adjusted, they said they could not find anything on how to adjust them on line. When I got home I looked and it was the first thing that popped up.I had a list of issues that showed up on my trouble light.I used a reader and listed them off to Mcatee tec. They only fixed one and called it done.I don't know what was up with them, in a rush, or not enough money in the job.I left unsatisfied and taking my car to another shop.Very odd

Couldn’t figure out my brake issue. Paid 148 bucks for a vacuum leak repair though. To be fair though, this wasn’t an average brake repair.

Excellent service and incredibly nice people. Had a nail in my tire, walked in and walked out in 45 minutes repaired for less than $40. Great value, will be back!
