After purchasing a used truck and taking it to numerous shops including the Dodge dealerships in Texas, we continued to have issues. Knowing the trusted guys at Xpert, we made the commute to Iowa. 10/10 worth it! They had exemplary customer service, quick turn around, and sent us on our way resolving the issues! We are SO grateful and will go back in the future without hesitation.

I was on a road trip yesterday from Omaha Ne to Carthage IL.
Just West of Keokuk I started to hear a grinding noise from my newly installed brakes.
I just happened to spot this shop. Apparently someone was looking out for me.
I pulled in and met the mechanics who were extremely nice guys. They had me back on the road in 15 minutes after fixing a missing caliper cage bolt, checking. The other ones and fixing my exhaust.
Then they told me to just be on my way without paying anything. In fact they wouldn’t even take the tip I offered.
These guys were awesome. I highly recommend them.

Was in town just one night and these guys made a last minute appointment for me for some transmission issues I was having. They had a lift waiting when I got there and got me back on the road quickly. Made my 1200 mile trip home with no issues at all.Incredibly friendly and showed me exactly what was going on with my car.

This is the first review I have ever left in my life that was negative, but I had a horrible experience. I took my truck in to get the water pump fixed as it was leaking a very little amount of coolant. That was the main issue. I also told them that I would like to see how much valve cover gaskets, transmission pan gasket, transmission filter, transmission temp gauge, and emergency brake cable would be. I also asked them to go through the truck and tell me anything that was wrong with it because I just got it and would like to be aware of any upcoming issues. They said they would call me the next day. They never called back, so I called them 3 days later. They said that they would give me a call back when the person that checked it out was in. The main guy at the counter called me a couple hours later and told me the water pump needs replaced, and so does the valve cover gaskets, transmission pan gasket, transmission filter, and emergency brake cable. (Does that sound familiar to what I told them needed to be done?) They quoted me 1600 for the job plus however much transmission fluid it would take. I agreed. They did not mention anything else that needed to be done or that any codes were on the truck. When I took the truck in, I had NO check engine light. They said it would be done in 2 days. I did not see the truck for over a week. Which is fine, because things come up. But when they said it was done, my total bill was $2526. This is $1000 above what they quoted me. I asked why and they stated that they had to buy a transmission pan because the pan I have does not take a gasket. The type of pan I have is a Mag-Hytec Model #4R100. I will let you look it up yourself. It definitely has a gasket that is $10 on their website. Instead, they charged me $450 for the pan. Notice on the site that the pan was only $380? Also the transmission fluid they charged $240 just for the fluid. It came out to be around $14 per quart which seems steep. My valve gaskets also leak still. My brake cable they put on is attached, but they did not bother to see if it worked or not (It does NOT). My truck also has a problem with the injectors. When I would go about 50, my truck would start to shake horribly. I also had a check engine light on now which I never had before. When asked about this the person at the front said that there were tons of codes when I brought it in and that they were confused as to why I wanted to fix what I asked them to before addressing the other problems. I was very confused because this is the first time I have heard that they found codes. In the beginning I asked them to go through the truck and tell me what was wrong. They just repeated to me what I wanted them to fix. Much more horrible stuff went on. Needless to say, I spent $1000 over what I was quoted and only the water pump was fixed. I took it to my normal mechanic and he said that they did not attach the injectors. The harness to the injectors is molded into the valve gaskets. He said they just did not get one attached all the way. He saw my bill and the stuff they did and laughed at me. Said I got hosed. They were unwilling to work with me as well or admit anything they did wrong in this.
