“The BEST movers I've ever used. I've moved 4 times in the past 6 years and have had really bad experiences in the past (camelback moving is horrible). These guys were so fast! Pricing was super reasonable, no crazy trips charges or anything just the hourly rate. Not a single item was so much as scratched. “Growing up, I recall Maher Brothers as an Iowa City institution for all things related to moving and storage. Their "bankers boxes" have been a favorite for decades. It's nice that the business is still thriving. There is a PDF document on their website that describes the first 100 years of service from 1922-2022. Hopefully the next 100 years will be just as innovative.”

They remember who you are and you always feel they care about you and all your belongings. We have actually used them twice in the last 10 months. Nick Ariano is so accurate with weight and the boxes that you’ll need. He gets back to you almost within the hour. He’s very knowledgeable an excellent agent and easy to work with. Ryan moved us this past May. Very responsible while in your home, packing, and delivering, absolutely no issues. Recently Antonio P moved our daughters belongings. It was a blizzard and he made it on time and everything went extremely smooth. I cannot say enough about Nick, Ryan, and Antonio P. No matter where you’re located or where you’re moving to, call Boerman Bekins and at least get an estimate you truly will not be disappointed in the personal care you get.”

“I used Hawkeye Moving for a double move - once in to storage and a month later to our new home. They were awesome! John and his crew did a great job ensuring all of our items were packed up safely in the truck on move out day. Move in day was Valentine's Day and he jokingly asked if they should bring chocolates - and I said, "Absolutely." Fast forward to move-in day and I was surprised with chocolates. That made my week! Again - all items were moved in to the new home and everything went very smoothly! Thank you so much for such a great group of guys! Would highly recommend!”
