Stopped in after a long day of riding the bike for something to drink. I didn't realize that they had a small restaurant in the gas station at the time, but fortunately the cashier let me know about the tenderloin sandwich special which turned out to be pretty good. The people were friendly and the food was decent so I would recommend stopping in if you are passing through. I was a nice break on a hot day so give them a shot.

Quick gas stop turned into a yummy breakfast at a surprise restaurant. Clean restroom and friendly cook/cashier. Kudos to small town Iowa!

Don't bother stopping there after 630 in the evening to get food, November 1 new hours kitchen closes at 7 and there's still farmers in the field still working and people still are wanting food, so keep driving somewhere else to eat. Sad for all of us that people don't want to work. I know when you come to my place, grill is still on till 9.

Refueling our motorcycle.

I've noticed most customers from Kramer's in Salem, are going to Houghton also, we all get treated nicer than A clerk at Kramer's treats their customers. I was totally amazed how well I was treated with respect at Sinclair at Houghton, but also how clean, low priced and I was able to sit in peace to get off my feet. I sat and listened to conversations and made me feel at ease, the home town friends that gather there, are just heart warming, the employees at Sinclair is the main factor that has made me a repeat customer. They are a TEAM here, polite and respectful.
