I would rate them 10 ⭐ if that were possible. I can honestly say that I've never had such an awesome experience at any other auto repair & service shop in my life, and you can truly tell it is family run! As they were going above and beyond on my vehicle I was able to observe their interactions with a number of other customers as well and it was remarkable! They are knowledgeable, experienced and excel in customer service. Could not recommend them enough!!!

We were in a heap of trouble - brake trouble - traveling home to Michigan from Montana. We pulled off at the Grinnell, Iowa, exit and booked into the dog-friendly Comfort Inn anticipating going to a name-brand repair shop the next morning. But a nice gentleman at the hotel said Andy’s Auto Repair was the best place to go. And he was right! Karen Moore was helpful right off the bat and worked with Andy Beach to squeeze us in. What should have been a rather simple fix was complicated by a hose that didn’t fit. The staff ordered 9 hoses hoping one might work. They drove my husband back to the
Comfort Inn, worked out for us to have a late checkout and arranged a room discount if we had to stay another night. One of the hoses fit!!! They picked my husband up and we were on the road by 2:15 pm and home by midnight. Andy’s prices were reasonable, the work was quality and they were very sensitive to our stressful dilemma. THANK YOU!

I have used Andy’s twice. Once when I thought there might be a head gasket leak on my son’s LR Discovery and they diagnosed it down to just a bad o2 sensor. Much cheaper repair. The other was a leak in the side wall of a tire discovered the morning we were set to drive home to the East coast. The tire needed to be replaced, they didn’t have the right size and it would of taken them awhile to get it so they called around and found it at another tire shop in town and suggested I go there because it would get me on the road the fastest. These folks genuinely want to solve the problem and do it honestly and at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

They are very friendly and professional
They are timely and efficient and have always treated us fairly
I would highly recommend them to anyone who is trying to keep an older car on the road

I've heard of Andy's shop a few years ago but was a little apprehensive to take my vehicles there. I should have. I'd probably still have my E350. No matter. I'm glad I started taking my current vehicle there. If you can get in (as they are always busy) Andy, Karen, and the team take very good care of your vehicle and the customer. They do great work, don't charge an insane amount, and if something goes wrong with their work or it's not running exactly as it should, they continue to work with you to make it right. I will continue to bring my vehicles to them until they shut down, God forbid, or until I die. Thank you Andy and team for doing what you do!!!!

I was driving across the country and had an brake light issue. When staying in Grinnell for a night, the hotel recommended Andy's Auto which was close by. Not only did they address and fix the issue in 10 minutes, they refused payment as it was such an easy fix. THAT was so kind. I would highly recommend their service and quality of customer care!
