I am a new Service Manager at a few local businesses. I have recently moved here and always had Fastenal stock my stores back home. I have always done this because of excellent bulk pricing and customer service. This was my first experience and will be my last. I was treated like an absolute idiot when using a incorrect description of the style of bolt head. Then proceeded to refuse to allow me to buy out of the bulk bin- and forced to pay an absolute outrageous price on a mini pack. After a complaint the clerk that I passed off as just being poor with customer service- let me know how he is the manager. It’s never about being told no, it’s about being absolutely belligerently rude about it. The ironic part of this is I was going to ask to speak to the site manager to start stocking my stores on the DSM area. Never again. Vendors walk in my store day in and day out trying to get my business- yet this store managed to reject, me trying to hand them mine.

Every time I come in everyone is always helpful. No waiting to get help to find something. Transactions are fast and smooth. Great knowledge of nuts and bolts for specific applications and when to use what. Makes me wish more places had knowledgeable staff that can really help when you ask they hard questions.
