Every bride needs an Anthony on their side. This man goes above and beyond to make your day as special as can be. My husband and I had the extreme pleasure of hiring Anthony and and the use of The Conservatory as our venue. It was beyond perfect and accommodating to what we had in mind. The venue is beautiful and well kept. There were no issues the entire time. The entire staff was so nice and professional. Thank you so much for making our wedding everything we could have hoped for and more. Will recommend to any couple looking for the perfect place for their day!

We toured this place in consideration for a place to hold our wedding reception. The location is beautiful, but the person that gave us the tour was not great. He was very focused on how things are usually done instead of what we might want for the wedding. At one point, we brought up an aspect that we are going to do with the wedding. He told us that we shouldn't because some people might complain about it and then he would have to explain why it was done. I felt this was kind of rude, especially as it was after we had explained the personal reasons for making that decision.It really felt as if, if we went with this venue, things were going to be done without much input from us. We chose to go elsewhere and have been very happy with doing so.Very beautiful space, very hesitant about the staff.

Anthony and his team helped make my daughter and her husband's wedding absolutely perfect! The Conservatory is East Village's best kept secret! We had the ceremony and reception there. We hired Anthony as our Wedding Coordinator and used many of his suggested vendors. Saley listened to the couple's ideas of how they wanted everything to look and she made it happen with beautiful flowers, altar, and table decor!

What a beautiful venue! It has great artwork up and a cool industrial feel! It is in a prime location right in the heart of downtown Des Moines! If you are looking to have your wedding somewhere unique with access to activities nearby, don't look any further!

My sorority used the venue for our formal. The place itself is beautiful! It was perfect for our theme and taking pictures (which we certainly love to do). The food and bar were also fantastic. It was an all around great night which was made possible through The Conservatory.

Literally could not have picked a better location for our reception than the Conservatory. The location downtown is very vibrant and chic, and you almost feel like you are walking into an upscale art gallery turned club when you enter through the front doors. The lighting created the perfect ambiance for romantic snapshots, the acoustics for the music were solid, and the whole vibe of the place was exactly what I was looking for: contemporary and elegant.Working with Anthony was an absolute blast. Everything looked precise and intentional when I arrived on my wedding day. I cannot fathom a better experience than what I had with the Conservatory.

We loved working with Anthony from the Conservatory. He was very responsive and thought of everything that we would need for our event. He was friendly and gave a wonderful introductory tour prior to our event. The venue itself was beautiful! It was classy and provided a wonderful space for our guests to interact. I highly recommend the Conservatory for any special event.

The Conservatory was an AMAZING venue to hold my wedding reception. It's so important to pick a venue that has a beautiful space but with service that makes the day go smoothly. I couldn't have imagined a better place to hold it. The manager, Anthony, was outstanding. While hiring other vendors in the Des Moines area, everyone...and I mean everyone.. knew of Anthony and had wonderful things to say about him. He was extremely helpful and positive throughout the whole process and never let one detail be missed. My wedding was the week of the Iowa Derecho and COVID (very stressful) but he stayed so positive and wasn't about to let my wedding be ruined. Last but not least.. Anthony's business partner, Sally Nong, was the florist and my flowers were absolutely breathtaking.Overall, I highly recommend holding your event at the Conservatory!!

This venue is absolutely stunning. I have been looking into this venue for weeks and finally scheduled an appointment to see it. The man who gave the tour however was very disappointing. I have never felt so awful taking to someone. He was arrogant and rude and I felt he was talking down to me. As beautiful as this venue is and as much as I wanted to have my wedding here, I do not feel I could work with someone who would talk down to me the way he did on one of the most important days of my life.

Really beautiful spot, excellent food! Service was very good, they even made a special meal for me because I have major allergies issues and I'm also really picky.
