Owner was talking on phone.I literally brought in every single things she supposedly buys that she advertises on her website. Didn't buy a thing and gave me dirty looks the whole time. My advice the selection is border line thrift store. I ended up selling all my stuff for a good price to a downtown competitor of hers.

Favorite vintage store in DSM and they are so nice there. They usually buy my vintage stuff for great prices and also have a sweet selection of items! I'm from DSM and live in NYC and it's really a better store than most I've seen in NYC!!

This place has everything vintage it's awesome! Great selection of clothes and very cool atmosphere too! The lady here will buy old vintage items also! Totally recommend if you're looking for old finds!

My husband & I found some incredible pieces at Rumors. The vintage is in great condition and reasonably priced. We walked away with Wrangler jeans, Levi's jacket and a white cotton button down-- all in mint condition for less that $130. I saw so many incredible silk dresses for $30 & $40. If every I'm visiting Des Moines again, I would make it a point to visit!

Besides offering awesome and affordable vintage, Allison is the sweetest. I let her know I was looking for overalls, and she found me the perfect pair. One of my favorite places to visit when I’m in DSM!

Such a great little shop that Des Moines is very lucky to have! The owner has such an amazing eye and you can see their passion in the store! They also throw an incredible vintage market! Definitely a must stop for any vintage lover! P.S. it’s also connected to a record store?! What vintage dreams are made of!

I have been a returning customer to Rumors over the past couple years, and I have to say it is one of my favorite vintage shops! They have such great curated finds and so many unique items that can be hard to find just by thrifting locally. Last time I went I got some very nice vintage Harley Davidson jeans. I can already tell I’m going to wear them a lot!
