So last Thursday my daughter and her friend had an issue at the Git n Go on SW 9th with an employee and manager trying to blame her friend for an incident that happened the day before and neither of them were in the store. So they accused her friend and told them they could not be in the store. On top of that my daughter heard them trying to say it was another girl outside the store. I called corporate and just received a call today from a Shelly Rodriguez who seems like she really did not care but says she would talk to them. Black kids being targeted and just a talk to them. Oh but she doesn’t think they were targeting black kids. If they weren’t for sure who it was then they shouldn’t be saying anything to any kid at all. Since my concern is just written off as a mistaken identity and a talk to I will go further.

If I could give -10, I would!They’re always getting robbedStores are close just because they can’t keep employeesAnd they don’t keep their vacant buildings clean!!They ignore the community when there’s issuesYou don’t even deserve a one starIt’s really embarrassing when it’s a local store and it’s the worst store compared to all the other stores from out of the states!You’re definitely about pit more money in the pocket versus the community

Marie Connett is the reason why people like Dahmer and Bundy exist. You need therapy ma’am. It is actually illegal to hold someone’s paycheck. You are a reminder why I go to therapy. I don’t want to end up a petty bitter old lady like you. I’m sorry you never dealt with your traumas and are so unhappy and have nothing but misery. Good luck with the labor board and the BBB. ☺️

Really wish they'd go out of business at this point and be replaced by Kwik Stars, Kum & Go's or Casey's. I literally go out of my way to avoid their stores.

This business is run by lazy rude administrative staff that do the absolute LEAST for their own employees and that's why you should NEVER work for, or support such despicable people who go out of their way to make things more difficult, describing specifically Marie Connett.

Very bad customer service!!! On more than one occasion the two women that work mostly evenings are rude and have horrible attitude’s!! It’s sad because we are losing customers. Location 56th n University, Pleasant Hill.

I've been shopping at the GitnGo across from ******************* since I moved to this area in ****. I had a negative experience today, and hope someone at Corporate can let me know if this is a new store policy, some kind of special circumstances, or simply a difficult cashier. A few months ago, a different cashier said they can't give cash back of less than $5 from debit cards. Today, though, a cashier refused to give cash back at all.

I went to the store on 9th and Bell in Des Moines, IA and the cashier was rude and mean. Made me wait almost 10 minutes for assistance. She said when she is on the floor with the gadget she can't leave that area. Then she went to tell me that she doesn't need me and my son to walk around the store with our backpacks on. I told her we came straight to the counter and I'm not a student like the sign says. She said my son isn't any different, I told her that she has never told my son to take off his backpack and it is different because he is with a parent.

Was almost charged $8.69 a bag for generic cat litter (10lb) at store #12. The lazy cashier wouldn't even look up the correct price. It was $3.29, guessing it was supposed to be $3.69. I can accept someone made a mistake but don't try to profit off it. Wonder how many other items are incorrect and does the cashier pocket the difference? Dishonest cashier,no wonder this store had list great employees and can't retain new ones.

Air pump sucked all the air out of my tire and then wouldn't work to air the tire back up. Cashier called manager and he wouldn't do anything until morning. He would have left us there all night. With the help of strangers, they changed our tire and send us on our way. Thank you gentlemen for your help

Very poor employer, no one knows how to run a store or have adequate employees for each shift. Maybe you should try hiring more people to work at your stores so your managers are not working 7 days a week and complaining to customers about the amount of time they have to work. No I dont work for git n go nor would I ever work for git and go I just know someone who does work for you and you guys take advantage of her and other employees

I wasn't even able to get into the store in Pleasant Hill. I'm disabled and in a motorized wheelchair. They do not have a wheelchair assessable sidewalk to their store. It is 2020, hasn't Git N Go heard of ADA? I was shocked.
