I like the people who work here, most of the time I was in a hurry and didn't see the grocery part and hot pockets in the coolers until a few visits later. the selection is good, energy drinks, juice, snacks

It's my go to Bodega not far from my home.they have just about everything you need AND it's the only nearby joint to get my tobacco supplies cuz I make my own.

They always let trespassers and homeless random people into apartment buildings and office spaces that connect to their store. Caused a lot of damages, vandalism and dirtiness to residents and businesses. One of the store workers, the smaller/thin guy is always making inappropriate physical remarks to females who stand near/walk by outside the store.

Made a quick run here for some wine during a stay in downtown Des Moines. If you're in need of snacks, basic groceries or alcohol, this place has you covered. They were enforcing COVID guidelines which is great to see. Cashier was friendly and made conversation while ringing me up. Located in a convenient area, this place provides those in downtown Des Moines with a store to fulfill their basic needs.

This used to be such a wonderful little corner store. Now homeless people are always inside the store harassing (and sometimes threatening) the customers. The store employees watch and do nothing.
