Great selection of new and used records from all musical genres. Nearly all sections organized by artist/band and alphabetized, which makes digging a lot easier. Some records I looked at were at the high end of their Discogs listing, but grading quality was generally high and accurate as well.

Great shop. Extensive selections for all genres, really. Their metal and punk sections are impressive for an Iowa record store. Worth my trip from out of town every time.

Great selection, service, and atmosphere. This was my second visit and I look forward to stopping again.
Located two blocks off the Mississippi River, Ragged Records is one of the largest record stores in Iowa. Carrying New & Used LP's, CDs, Tapes, Vintage Stereo Equipment and many other music related items. Clear your schedule because it could take a while to browse through this huge collection.
