“I needed my lawnmower blade sharpened immediately. I went to tractor supply to buy one and they cost $20. So I called chappy's repair and they sharpen for five dollars if you bring your blade in. $10 if they have to remove it from your lawnmower and then sharpen it. I brought it in expecting to have to leave it Overnight but the guy there said no let me do it for you right now. So within 10 minutes he had it perfectly sharpened. For five dollars. Besides repair they also sell lawnmowers. I saw a lot of used ones there push, self propelled, and riders. Maybe they sell new ones too. I don't know. But I highly recommend this place.”

“This company has EVERYTHING you need for a party, wedding, event, concert, ANYTHING under the sun, you name it. They also have a lot of rental items like karaoke machines, they do CD/DVD duplication (legal duplication of course) Friendly family like atmosphere with a very intelligent staff that is very community involved. During the Obama election, they built the podium used at the Cedar Rapids speeches. They also have a rare BIG Eli Ferris Wheel for rent, that they can take to most any event in the country. There is pretty much nothing that this company does not do, or have available when it comes to events. I believe one of the managers who is a fireman even does all of the Cedar Rapids fireworks shows from coordination,music, staging, setup and everything. They got hit pretty hard during the 2008 floods but that didn't slow them down. They also have a lot of items that they custom design in house, one being an item called a pop up projector, which is great for business meetings, even for remote classes at colleges.. if you ever need something for an event, call these guys.”

“Another Midwest gem of a comedy club Slobbering John Melendez claims to have headloined. As usual, he went on stage with his classic uniform of worn out jeans and a black t shirt to hide his moobs and love handles. Complete with awkward hand placement in and out of his pockets or crossing his arms to cover his gross body. You can tell he isn't comfortable on stage in his own grey skin. The act has been the same for 25+ years...he brags about knowing the Kardashians, asking celebrities nobody remembers insulting questions, dead names Caitlyn Jenner and then talks about how awesome Jay Leno was for taking pity on John and not firing him as Jay never fired anyone on TTS staff regardless of how far and fast they fell from announcer to wannabe staff writer a.k.a coffee fetching prankster man-child. Currently John has a podcast where he drunkenly airs grievances while claiming victories over perceived enemies on the internet. Complete with no guests as not even Army Majuh Richard Ojeda can tolerate the drunken ramblings of a failed father with mentally ill adult children he still claims are minors.”

I activated it myself andhad to deal with a glitch in the process, and I happened to be in CR for family activities 2 days later. I took it to the CR store, and they solved the problem right away.”
