Sandy, Savanah, Dr Riggle, and Cecily provided the best, most seamless eye appointment I've ever experienced. From check-in to pre-exam to exam to glasses selection and fitting. The assortment of glasses is extensive. I'll be back for sure.

Savanna was very amazing with assisting me and my 3 year old son. She was very polite from the phone call, to the walk in visit, to picking up my babies glasses today. He’s non verbal and autism spectrum. She and Nicole helped us pick the perfect glasses. They were very patient with us and he didn’t want to sit still for measurements but Nicole was able to eyeball them and his glasses fit perfect! I recommend this eye doctor for anyone and especially if you have little ones.

I had my first appointment earlier this month. The front desk girl was very rude when I asked for clarification on the charges but I decided to stay as I was desperate for new contacts and my prescription had expired. I was in the middle of getting new insurance so I paid in full. Fast forward to now. I have retroactive insurance starting the beginning of the month. They are in network so I called to ask them to bill my insurance and get refunded. They lied and said they couldn’t do it. I called my insurance and they told me they could but are not willing to. So since they don’t want to do it, now I have to file an out of network claim even though they are in network with my insurance. Which means I will be subject to out of network fees instead of in network. I paid a little over $600 for an eye exam and contacts. I’m never coming back here again.

I struggle with glasses and always have to have them remade multiple times because they are not right. I get extremely embarrassed and ashamed that they cannot get them corrected. The ladies at My Eye Doctor were very professional and made me feel like they genuinely care about my concerns. They were very patient and constantly reassuring me that it’s ok they will make it right. We collaborated and measured and together came up with a solution and on the first try wal-la! I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t see it with my own eyes, no pun intended lol. Sometimes you have to let go of what you’ve always been told and let the professionals do their job. I am extremely overwhelmed with joy that I could walk out, finally with glass I could actually see out of. Thank you to everyone at the Valpo office for working with me and making me feel comfortable and wanted. I love my new eyewear and those sunglasses, Muy Bueno ??

We came in with a pair of sunglasses with a lost screw. They had to try dozens of screws to find the correct one! Everyone was so helpful! Briana was the best!!

The place is ok, the glasses selection is mid at best, but the staff are rude beyond belief. My sister is 19 years old as of 2 weeks ago and so she was unaware of being taken off of the pediatric insurance. Instead of the staff being understanding and helping respectfully, they scolded her and told her to get out and reschedule when she knew was she was doing. There are plenty of other, better places to go for glasses. ??

Was treated very well, was a bit of a wait but with covid, it set them back a bit. Treat people with respect, they return it... atleast that's my experience.
Update 8/3/24: I truly wish I could do another review and give them another 5 stars. Amy, her assistant (I really wish I had caught her name) and Cecily were all wonderful to me as they were the last time I was here in Dec 2022. I've been going to this place for four years now and every experience has been great.
Be open and transparent while there and they will be that way for you and even work with you on the best financial route.

This location is horrible they have my appointment away after signing all the paperwork, I was told I did not confirm my appointment even tho I did. The front desk lady was rude and took my signed paperwork and said she was going to throw it away… I’m pretty sure that is against HIPPA but I’m contacting corporate to find out.

I worked with Earl and Nicole and they were so accommodating and kind. I needed a warranty replacement and the problem was fixed immediately. Highly recommend this place!
