I have been a customer since long before Neil Rago took over. Neil is a nice guy, unfortunately the service he is responsible to provide started poor but had promise and devolved into downright reprehensible. In the last couple years my company has never had up to date, accurate, useable financials. We have not filed our taxes on time.It kills me to write this as a fellow business owner who cared deeply about the success of Neil and his young company.I tried for weeks to reach Neil by Phone, Email, and in person with no response whatsoever. After exhausting all avenues for continuing our partnership, I made the decision to hire a new firm to manage our bookkeeping just a couple days before the expiration of our tax extension in September. Here it is November of 2020, and Neil is still refusing to release our records including our payroll records and depreciation schedules.Gatlin-Rago has not sent me a bill for their service, I believed this to be because he knows they never did the work.If you don't wish to do the job, that's fine. But I cannot understand why you would hold our records. Especially when I was referring you clients whom you also failed, damaging my credibility.Release my records!

My spouse and I rearranged our work schedules for a 9am appointment. This was our first meeting mind you. Upon arrival we were told he was running "a little" behind. 45 minutes later with no call, no show, we left.

Definitely a humiliating experience. Taxes are due in 1 week and our business and personal taxes are still not done and as this is our first year with them we are scared as it is holding up two projects as well as the IRS due date. When we reached out multiple times with no return phone call (same as Tyler's feedback) we finally sent an email saying we expect a call back. No call was received only a very long email shaming us for making that request and that our monthly cost for doing our books has now doubled. We are scared and helpless and at the mercy of Neil. As it is now so close to April 15th we have no other choice but to hope and beg for him to complete the promised work. Will definitely update this feedback with our overall experience and if the taxes get done. At this point, as humiliating as it is a 5 minute phone call would go a long way so we are pleading with you please call us.

Neil Rago took such good care of us while doing our taxes. He really worked hard at finding additional deductions and credits to really maximise our refund. He was friendly and treated us like family. The offices had comfortable chairs and setting. Highly recommended him!!

I have worked with CPAs/accountants for nearly 20 years and I have never worked with such an amazing group. Gatlin Rago came highly recommended; Neil Rago processed our 2017 return. Not only did our return get processed in a timely and smooth manner, the service was extremely informative, efficient, and courteous. I am truly impressed with Gatlin Rago, I will surely be returning to them next year.

This is the first year that we had someone do our personal taxes for our family of five and Neil Rago, CPA did an awesome job. We were so happy with his work. He was professional, easy to work with, thorough, and had great turnaround time. The bonus was that he also reviewed our 2015 tax return and found an additional refund we were owed! We highly recommend Gatlin Rago and will definitely be using them this year as well.
