“I have been stopping here on road trips for 20+ years. Unlike the Meijers gas stations in SW Michigan, this place is ultra clean, including the bathroom.Very friendly and helpful staff.Never a wait at the pump.It's a mile off the freeway, but well worth it.”

“i always have a great experience when I come to this speedway the employees are always super friendly and very helpful and their drink and snack selection is excellent not to mention that they also have showers to use for $5.00.... u cant beat that plus they have a nice selection of semi truck accessories....and the cheapest gas around ??⛽?”

“It’s nice having family express up here in our neck of the woods we call NWI. The stores are all for the most part clean (on their worst days still cleaner than the average gas station.. bleh!). We go in here a few times a month for a fountain drink and cups and lids are always in stock and the dispenser looks rather clean, not sticky and like they actually take pride in their work. Shocker in 2023! Their pumps always seem to work well and not glitch out or anything. Windshield washer fluid and squeegee always filled and in good condition. Pumps appear clean and not overrun by cobwebs and garbage. Well managed facilities. Clean bathrooms!”

She apologized profusely and said please take some ice out of the soda area where I could get some ice. She was very nice and accommodating and her customer service skills was top notch! “Jannsen’s is a staple of the community for several reasons. First and foremost, upon arriving in Beverly Shores, either by train or auto, it is what one sees immediately prior to entering the town. As such, people often stop by for some hiking, bird watching, beaching, soft serve (weather permitting), or other supplies of that nature.The Dunes Mart is always aptly stocked and staffed by genuinely nice, yet thoroughly professional, people and I cannot recall a single unpleasant experience while shopping here in well over a decade. Although it would appear Jannsen’s keeps one of nearly everything on their shelves, except for blue pens ?. Other than that this Mart is excellent.And last, but in all honesty the most significant, starting the day with a cup of Sandra C’s regular blend - and one of Henze’s Bakery’s finest - is quite hard to top. Whether you’re from the area, or just passing through, I’d suggest recharging at the Dunes Mart.”
