Worst post office ever. Lazy clerk wouldn’t accept my packages because it was three minutes past 4:30 yet they had customers in store.

It’s a few extra miles to use this post office. But well worth the drive.I get treated like a customer instead of an inconvenience.

This post office is often unreliable. Often mail is late and often mail is missing. It's very strange and I hope things get fixed soon.

Great post office bar the diminutive operating hours

Friendly workers and better (off-street) parking than Elkhart or Mishawaka.

Best post office around besides Mishawaka (maybe). Always polite, great service - only downside is the hours of operation, but you can’t hold it against them that nobody wants to work!

This is a small office, so if you can, try to go on the off hours. I have always been treated very well. When you go, BE PREPARED. Nothing will grind the whole place to a halt faster than that person in front of you that has NO CLUE what they're doing! You can find out most everything you need to know online at USPS.com. It's 2021 people!

Workers will throw your packages in front of you. I frequently ship collectable items and tag boxes with fragile stickers. I went in set my things down and before I could get the last item out of my hands the employee had scanned and threw one of my items across the room. It hit the wall at about five or six feet up and then fell into an almost empty bin roughly 8inches from the ground. When I asked her to not throw my items she replied " this is just how we do things here". I do not recommend taking your fragile items to this location.

After YEARS of doing business with all of the kind, wonderful people that work at this office, I took one star away on this review because of a relatively new, male employee who treated me absolutely disgracefully today. I went in, waited my turn in line with my mask on, and when I got to my turn at the counter, I let him know I was expecting a package to be delivered to my PO Box today and it wasn't there. He looked in the back, then asked me to read off my tracking number "4 numbers at a time", which he wrote down, then proceeded to look me right in the eye while he placed the paper off to the side of him and informed me that he would look up the number after he waited on the person behind me. I was confused and asked why I had to let someone else go when I had waited myself and it was my turn in line. He actually looked right at me again and said "Because that's the way we're going to do it". I was absolutely floored and still confused and told him that I was going to remain where I was, while he went and looked up my package. He said he would look it up after he waited on the next person. Again, I asked why. Again, he stated sternly, "Because that is how we're going to do it when I have a line and I'm here by myself". I told him again, that I would be staying where I was while he went and looked up my number. At that point he asked me if he needed to "Call someone", which I'm sure meant the police, but which I deescalated by responding, "yes, you can call someone out here to help the person behind me while you finish helping me". I ended up leaving in tears. I have had a PO Box here for 22 years with no issue and have loved the other employees at this location. This guy, however, needs to go! If you dont like people, dont work behind a counter waiting on them. I have worked in customer service myself for 25 years and I know what triggers service employees and how to avoid situations like this as customer. I approached him no differently than I normally would. He just has a power issue. I will be speaking with a supervisor on monday.
