Very rude and unhelpful. Everyone knows how important our fur babies are and they could care less. If I could give zero stars I would!!!!

We moved to Evansville in March and, after searching for a new vet, finally found U-Vet was accepting new customers. I think I now know why they are one of the few that are! Every single time I have had an appointment, I have had to wait at least 30 minutes (and once almost an hour) after my appointment time to be seen. I do realize and understand that emergencies are always going to take priority. I just find it hard to believe that there are always emergencies that delay my appointment by so long every time. And judging from other reviews, it's not isolated to me. But the main reason for my 1-star review is this: I wrote an honest review - noting the wait time and other concerns - on Google. The business responded that they appreciate my honest review and would use it to improve their service. But apparently they do NOT actuall appreciate honest reviews. I left my last review of them about 4 months ago. Dr. Yu did respond to the review, but not directly to me. At no time did anyone from the practice reach out to me to discuss the review, etc. Yesterday I went on their portal to book an appointment for my dog. Today I received this reponse: "We will no longer be servicing you or your pets due to the negative review on our google page and your complaints of not being happy with the services we provide. We have attached Maya's records to this email so that you can transfer the records to a new clinic when you find one." So not only do they NOT appreciate negative (yet honest) reviews, they don't even have the decency to let me know that they are not going to provide services until I try to make an appointment. FWIW - Here's the reviews I left on Google: (1st review - written March 2023) We recently moved to Evansville from out of state so I needed to find a new vet. It is extremely hard to find vets here that are accepting new patients. So I was happy that U-vet had fairly good reviews and was accepting new patients. My first visit was - mixed. Good: Dr. Yu was very personable and did a pretty good job of explaining everything. On both visits (see below for why I had to go back), the vet techs were fantastic with my very anxious girl. Not so Good: My appointment was at 10:10. I didn't see any tech or Dr until after 10:45 when the tech came in. After he got initial info and left, it was another 15 - 20 minutes before he returned with Dr. Yu. Admittedly my previous vet's records were a bit hard to decipher. However, I explained that she'd had all of her last vaccines a year ago and now needed ALL vaccines again. I was very clear that since she's in daycare and other contact with other dogs I wanted to make sure she got bordatella, distemper, and flu in addition to rabies. I guess I should have paid more attention to what they were giving her. When I got home I realized she had not gotten distemper and flu shots. I also realized they forgot to give me the stool sample collection container that Dr. Yu had said they'd give me. I take some responsibility in not checking more carefully, but I was dealing with a super anxious dog. When I contacted them, they did agree to let me come back to get the needed vaccines and to not charge another office visit fee. Also, the front desk people who checked me in on both occasions were very nice and seemed to understand my concerns fairly well. The woman who checked me out both times was...well not so great. She barely spoke at all, only gave one word answers to my questions, barely even looked at me and didn't give any sort of information or instructions with the meds and paperwork she gave me. Hopefully this will all improve now that we're past the initial visit and they have their own records. If so, I'll update my review. (Update, written July 2023) Update: Once again I waited an extremely long time. Our appt was at 9:20 and we were finally taken to an exam room at 10:30. And then, after thoroughly explaining my concerns to both the tech and the vet - that she's exercising more and eating less and still not losin

DO NOT GO HERE! I took my cat here because he had crystals growing in his bladder. They cleared it out and let him stay for a few days. This trip was 3,000. They gave me zero infromation on how to care for him while he was recovering and he died a week later. It wasnt even a surgery!

Wait time is super annoying here but Jimmy is one of the better vets that I’ve ever been to.

Horrible. Waited for an hour and a half to be seen. Then dr treats my cat for ringworm (not knowing that's what it is) and tells me they will run a test to confirm and check back in two weeks. I call almost a month later - no test ever done. Completely unprofessional. Basically paid for an aggravation and nothing else. Do not use this clinic if you care about your pet because they certainly don't!

I have been going to U-vet for years at this point. There is not a single vet in the area that I would trust more. All of the staff are amazing to work with and are incredibly patient. They are all incredibly kind and a pleasure to work with every single time. Not only that, but Dr. Yu is amazing. He legitimately cares about all the animals he works with. He is always incredibly excited when we go over how well my lab mix, Trouble, has healed after no one, but two different surgeries on the same leg. I always have and will always recommend this vet clinic to any of my friends, family and acquaintances!

I love this place. the staff is so friendly and helpful and they make you feel right at home. They discuss the prices with you before they do anything. And Dr.Jimmy is the best, so gentle and talks to my kids (pets) like they are his own. I highly recommend this place. 5

I would NOT recommend this place. We took two of our Ragdoll kittens there for neutering and one was over anesthetized and died. Yep - sure he claimed they did everything correctly. The fact is they did not. Prince Louie died on the operating table due to negligence. Read the document you sign before surgery, basically you give up all rights.
