What a great place for your pets. The people there are wonderful. Very clean. Big play yard for the pets. The only place we will board our pets when needed. Stop by and check their place out. You won't be disappointed.

So we took our dog there about two years prior for a weekend trip and I portioned out his food for each meal to help them out. When we got Apollo back there was two extra portions. I thought I may of over counted and left it at that. He also smelt weird even though we didn’t ask him to be bathed. It was a gross smelling perfume.Fast forward to our latest stay from last Thursday to today. I felt nervous about leaving him again but was willing to try them again. We were originally gonna have him there longer but came back earlier. I proportioned the food and gave exact amount to get him to Saturday morning and we would get him that’s afternoon.Meaning today when we picked him up and they noted they fed him this morning. We should have only four bags of extra food. Today at pick up there was six bags. They noted that Apollo didn’t eat all his food right away which is not normal and why we use a slow feeder bowl. We originally thought that he lost his toys there and turns out they never gave them to him. We had pointed out these toys at drop off and said our dog likes to chew on things and this helps his anxiety when away from us. We just found them under the food bowl. When we dropped him off they where on top of the food bowl.After talking with some friends, one of them noted that they stopped using happy tails due to the same thing. After experiencing this two times in a row, I will it be using them again. I had called on Monday and was told my dog was doing great. Today the same guy who gave us our dog noted he didn’t take care of him. This concerns me since this is the guy that said my dog was doing great, but wasn’t taking care of him.While he didn’t lose weight and demeanor seems fine, it is still concerning to see they missed two meals with him and hearing someone else has the same issue.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!We went to pick our dog up today, she didn’t have any of her 4 toys, her food was missing, her bed was missing, and her blanket was missing!!! The only thing that she had when we picked her up was her leash!This is absurd. She looked like she had lost several pounds, she is only an 17 pound dog, so we were surprised to see her looking to be only about 13-14 pounds now!!She also had poop stuck to her like she has had diarrhea for the last week. The only time our dog has EVER had diarrhea was when she was on other dog food!!Overall we are far from happy! This place is a joke!DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!

DO NOT LET YOUR PETS STAY HERE. Never again. And I will warn all my friends and family. My sister and I dropped off my husky and cocker spaniel for a week. When we got back, the cocker spaniel was SKIN and bones, shaking and smelt bad. They never said a word.The husky was shaking and when I raised my hand to pet her, she would flinch. I never struck my dog. But she would flinch at me now?!They had a lot of food, missing toys, an awful smell and did not act right when we picked them up . The owner couldn't even remember who they were. We had to describe them to them. But when I called last week, they said the dogs were having a good time.Turns out, they rarely interact with the dogs. And the front kennels are just for show.This place is HELL and the fact that they are still open is appalling. History shows several lawsuits have happened here because of the mistreatmebt of pets. DO NOT LET YOUR PETS STAY HERE

Great boarding facility, they habe taken care of my dogs for several years. Now they offer doggy daycare with both indoor and outdoor facilities.

We just picked up our dog Cooper from Happy Tails and they were amazing! They care for the animals just like their very own. Cooper had such a good time there, when we left he tried to go back in the door to play some more! He didn't want to leave. They have great rates and communicate well with their clients. We will definitely be boarding him there again. Thank you so much! Happy Tails!

We recently moved to Georgetown from Louisville and have been looking for a place to board our pups while we went out of town. After reading so many happy reviews, we chose to bring our furbabies to Happy Tails and now I'm so glad we did!I was treated kindly and respectfully from that first phone call and from there on out. When I dropped them off, our dogs were eager and happy to be there and when I picked them up, they were happy and appeared to have been treated well. With each person I came into contact with, I was spoken to in a polite and kind manner and felt comfortable leaving our pets with them.Their prices were excellent and I was told everything upfront. No hidden fees or gimmicks, just honesty and integrity. These people love the pets they care for and it showed in our pups! We will definitely be bringing them back for another visit soon! ?

Great service for the price! Nice facilities and clean, owners are all about dogs. About 20 min from downtown Louisville close to Georgetown IN. Only negative is cash only, but that’s not a big deal, really. Owners are friendly, and they took good care of my two girls. We’ll be back next year for vacation!

Wonderful place to house your furry baby while you're away. Never have a worry about him getting excellent care and attention. The kennel is clean and safe. The owners made our big boy feel loved and special. Kudos to Happy Tails Resort!!!

We loved the service we got with Happy Tails. This was the first time leaving our dogs for so long and were worried how they would be when we picked them up. They were happy to see us and didn't seem anxious or upset at all. We will gladly use them again in the future.

We have been using Happy Tails for years and our dogs really seem to enjoy staying there. When we get out of the car, the dogs are rushing to the door.They even offer kennels with a TV and a couch to help pets feel at home. (cleaned frequently )Very clean and sanitary facility.They give pets regular exercise / outdoor time and provide a loving atmosphere.
